Hi Guys, Silly question here but have been searching for hours and cannot find a surefire solution. Have a Z3c Tablet thats always been stock, wanted to try this so went to unlock bootloader but says 'bootloader unlock allowed: no'. Does this mean that i'm out of luck and cannot use any custom rom etc.? Would have loved to have removed some of the bloat and had a vanilla nougat experience...

You are out of luck on the custom ROM front. But you should be able to root and get rid of at least some of the bloat that way.

Disclaimer:Check lowtraxx's post below, doing this might brick your device do so at your own risk
If you're able to get it rooted you could try using flashfire to flash twrp and then flash the fastboot images in twrp. In fact you might even be able to flash the fastboot imaged directly in flashify.

I could be wrong, but doesn't the locked bootloader check signatures on the boot image. If so, even if the flashing would work, you could end up with a bricked device that refuses to boot. (ReFlashing FTF with fastboot should still be possible in that case though.) But as stated, I am not sure.

Its Cyanogenmod, you can enable root in development settings. And for gapps, use google for "open gapps"

NFC is still temperamental. I have it off for the most part and enable it if needed. But last I tried keeping it on yesterday it had no discernable influence on battery life.
If you already are on my CM you only need to flash the zip in TWRP. It will keep gapps. If you do a frash install, you fasboot flash the recovery, boot into it and sideload first the rom and then gapps.

My guess is that the NFC bug on the SGP611 is upstream at Sony because every Nougat rom I've tried for the 611 has the same NFC fault.

but after restart there comes no LED purple, i hitting many Volume Up there starts no recovery

I have not found one as of now, as I do not have an affected SD Card. All my cards here work fine and are surviving removal and reboots perfectly (trust me, I am rebooting a lot for testing and such). I will ask around and keep a lookout anyways.

Hi, sorry, if I was not clear. I added instructions if you are coming from a ROM which does not support FOTAKernel recovery to the main Post.

If you come from stock or from a ROM that does not support Recovery on the FOTAKernel partition, you also need to fastboot flash the boot image for your device before rebooting into recovery.

fastboot flash boot boot-scorpion.img

Boot image - GDrive - Scorpion (SGP621) boot image
Boot image - GDrive - Scorpion Windy (SGP611) boot image

If you already have a recovery you can of course flash the zip directly from there. I also added that to the main post. Sorry.

same here with Sd Card after format it with Tab works
after reboot or copy any data from Mtp (PC) comes
again Sd is corrupt must format again

I must go back to stock, i need my Sd card

Yep, AICP for SGP 6xx is the only one N based ROM which can treat SD without issue as far as I know.

Talked to the sony devs. They want to merge the patch as long as there is no other working solution. I will add it today and upload fixed boot images later today. Thanks very much @koron393
