i have no issue on adding widget.
but yes, no more transparent status bar.
i would rather lose it than facing laggy dropdown to the most essential bar in system.

hmm, for me, the "add widget" button was lost and notifications were not shown, only clock. i´m happy that my statusbar isn´t laggy, so i dont need that build.prop entry and can have this notifications like on an iphone, i like it very much.

i think you should do a clean install again and edit build.prop then flash new gApps on OP post #4
enable the ART if u want to right before u flash new gApss
i did those step just now and having no issue at all.

People having problems switching to ART, if you use xposed, it will conflict and it will automatically revert it with dalvik. If you want to use dalvik, disable xposed and then try switching, it will work :) @utsav911 is this your issue as well?
@MrGezz : you can add this info in the OP, it might help others.

And yes, no battery charging icon since v3,
TEMPORARY SOLUTION: hide the battery icon from settings, interface. Use xposed module- Gravitybox and enable custom battery icon from there. I use the circle battery, and its great.

yes. I am using xposed framework.
Thanks for the solution :good:

@MrGezz sometimes the screen goes black and there is no response. I have to restart the phone.

e.g. if you are using Instagram, try to select image from gallery. It goes complete black and after a minute it reboots.

@MrGezz
Do you notice a weird display issue on the screen?
It's something 1-2 px wide vertical line (to the leftmost side) that is overlayed almost everywhere. And its weird because when i am taking screenshot, it doesn't appear.
I noticed it on nova launcher, quickpic, Games, widgetlocker.
