This is test version. No support. Use it at your own risk.
No root method in this rom. Please install Magisk (use 14.0 or 14.3. Don't use 14.5. It breaks the boot!) for root solution.
Please add logcat/dmesg log when you report bugs, thanks.

I don't have windy model. I cannot any test for windy, so no "windy" zip anymore.

Flashing this test rom on my SGP621 soft bricked it. I had to boot into fastboot to flash a FOTA kernel so I could launch TWRP and restore my nandroid.
I have what was in 23.5.A.1.291, the last update for my SGP621 that I'm aware of. Is there anything newer?
No it's the newest. But I've got the same error and reinstalled everything except kernel an system. Now everything is working properly and fluidly. ))
This ROM was working perfectly on my SGP, but now it simply doesn't recognize the SD card anymore.

- Bootloader Unlock
- Update bootloader to latest stock version
How to Install
- Download ROM zip
- Extract boot.img from ROM.zip
- Reboot into bootloader mode
- Flash extracted boot.img (fastboot flash boot boot.img)
- Flash recovery to recovery (fastboot flash recovery TWRP_xxxx.img)
- If you use old twrp, flash recovery to FOTAKernel (fastboot flash FOTAKernel TWRP_xxxx.img)
- Reboot (fastboot reboot)
- Press volume up button when LED light turns "pink" and boot int recovery mode (LED turns "orange")
- Push ROM.zip
- Wipe Data/System from menu
- Install ROM.zip from menu
- Reboot

Thank you for the walkthrough, but the result on my SPG611 is saddly the same than before.
The nougat rom works fine, but I tried the Oreo rom, and it wasn't worked, I know that room is not for the spg611,. I just tried it for fun and gave you a little feedback, just in case.

I tried this update using the installation guide you linked on my SGP621. I run into the same problem as the first test version, that the boot.img won't boot. After I do the fastboot reboot, the LED flashes pink once very briefly instead of staying pink for a few seconds like it should. The screen stays black, there is no SONY logo and I cant enter recovery. Has anyone been able to get this to work?

Hi, I am trying to install this rom on my SGP621, using the guide, but after flashing my tablet, but after click on reboot on latest TWRP I have only a black screen (without Sony logo) and with a red blinking led.
I followd following steps:
- extract boot.img from latest koron393's AICP rom and after I flash it using fastboot;
- flash latest TWRP from link provided by koron393;
- reboot my tablet and when in TWRP I flash latest AICP rom;
- flash latest gapps;
- wipe cache and dalvik cache;
- reboot.
After this my tablet doesn't start, with a red blinking led.
Could you tell if you use same steps or if I am doing something wrong? Should I flash magisk too? :silly:

AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we are now actually LOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the LOS team will if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LOS supported, so no need to report errors/bugs to them!!

FAQ:
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Oreo. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device internal storage.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Wipe System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
4. Flash ROM Zipfile.
5. Flash/Install GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
6. Flash/Install the root solution of your choice (optional).
7. Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update) as long as the instructions of your
root solution do not state something else (="persistence on dirty flashing") !
Currently Supported Root Solutions:

KERNEL:
The kernel in this ROM follows LOS source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash using the buildin OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use the LOS recovery and OTA app, but you will need to download the zip file and flash it manually from within your recovery. The Zipfile gets saved in the "aicp_ota" folder on your internal storage.
Please be sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery. Keep im ind that this could also be an unofficial version!

If you update with dirty flash, substratum apk will force close. Please uninstall "Installed Theme" and "substratum apk", and Re-install it.
or Clean install ROM zip.
If boot failed (bootloops), turn off the power (press power button about 10 sec.) and try to reboot please.
