Hi, I am trying to install this rom on my SGP621, using the guide, but after flashing my tablet, but after click on reboot on latest TWRP I have only a black screen (without Sony logo) and with a red blinking led.
I followd following steps:
- extract boot.img from latest koron393's AICP rom and after I flash it using fastboot;
- flash latest TWRP from link provided by koron393;
- reboot my tablet and when in TWRP I flash latest AICP rom;
- flash latest gapps;
- wipe cache and dalvik cache;
- reboot.
After this my tablet doesn't start, with a red blinking led.
Could you tell if you use same steps or if I am doing something wrong? Should I flash magisk too? :silly:
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for report.

-Reboot into recovery
-Wipe System/Data/Cache
-Flash my ROM.zip (no gapps or magisk)
-Reboot

I'm waiting for your report back.

Thank you for your answer :good:
If flashing goes well I could flash google apps after? Or it is better to download what I need directly from Play Store?
I am at work atm, so I could try it tomorrow.
Sorry

Hi, I have tried to install your rom multiple times, but every time appear a message in twrp that tell me there is an error (two strings).
I don't know if there is a problem with the latest twrp from your post because when I try ti flash It from fastboot It doesn't install and rebooting my tablet I have a 2.8.... twrp, instead of 3.1....
I hope ti understand how to flash It in the right way :laugh:

These 2 errors can be ignored.

But your twrp is tooooooooo old. It's lollipop/marshmallow version.
You must use new version.

I know, but I don't know why after flash the first one from your link I have the 2.8.... version rebooting my tablet.

Reboot into bootloader and try this

Code:
fastboot flash FOTAKernel twrp.img

And sorry for my mistake

7.Press volume down button when LED light turns "pink" and boot int recovery mode

not "down".
It's "up"

  • Press volume up button when LED light turns "pink" and boot int recovery mode

I have tried to flash using your updated guide, but now I am not able to enter in TWRP pressing volume up rebooting my tablet, the led doesn't become pink (it is only gree) :(
I think to change my method...
Right now I have started from a .167 oficial rom, flashing a recovery (found here on xda) using fastboot flash boot boot.img (it is a recovery) and after reboot it comes directly in TWRP, where a flash a zip with a rooted .590 Singapore official rom (that should be one of the latest one rom) with a recovery too. After this I reboot in bootloader mode, so I flash the boot.img extracted from latest AICP rom using fastboot flash boot boot.img, after this I flash, using updated guide, latest TWRP from the link you provided, TWRP_scorpion_3.1.1.3_3.4_201711.img with fastboot flash FOTAKernel TWRP_scorpion_3.1.1.3_3.4_201711.img and after rebooting I can't go in TWRP pressing volume UP, I don't remember if the led blinking red or become green and reboot directly in my previous rom (singapore's one).
After this I really don't know how to...I am going crazy :silly::silly::silly::silly::silly::silly:

To me the same, what I did after that was connect the tablet to the PC, and opened flashtool, in my case the tablet was connected in "flash mode" so I was able to flash the stock ROM. Another thing that worked for me was connect the tablet to the PC, press "volume up" and "power on" at the same time, wait for the vibration and then press "volume up" and the tablet went into fastboot mode.

I hope, at least one works for you. Luck.

  1. Write stock "23.5.A.1.291" with flash tool (for use latest bootloader)
  2. Reboot into bootloader

In fastboot mode
Code:
fastboot -w
fastboot erase system
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot flash FOTAKernel twrp.img
fastboot reboot

After reboots

  1. LED turns "RED"
  2. Boot up with SONY and XPERIA logo
  3. LED turns OFF
  4. LED turns "PINK"
  5. Then (Long) press volume "UP", LED turns "ORANGE" and reboot into TWRP

Wait...why did you flash a stock rom? To have latest rom to flash on the AICP one? Or only to have back a usable device?
Did you have AICP now?

---------- Post added at 03:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:02 PM ----------

Then after this I should flash AICP rom after this?
Thanks a lot for your help :fingers-crossed:

Excuse me for double post.
