I'm sorry koron393, but I don't use GPS on my tablet so I didn't notice it was broken until now. Because my tablet is never away from home, I leave GPS off to save battery life.

This update or maybe a previous one turned NFC back on, which went blinking again but after a reboot, I was able to turn off NFC off again so problem solved as far I'm concerned since I prefer KDE Connect to NFC.

Hi koron393, SGP611 - I checked for GPS with a GPS Test tool - it could see nothing. The app is visible in Location. The logcat I've attached may be of use to you. Probably firmware I guess.

crDroid had a similar issue with my OnePlus X but in that case it required an available CM14 fix. [ROM][OFFICIAL][Nightlies][onyx] CyanogenMod 14.1 for Oneplus X by ashwin007 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68947919&postcount=110 It didn't work for me but it might point you in the right direction.

Your rom is working fine. I reverted back to stock, flash your rom + opengapps. GPS is not broken, the GPS Test is either broken or at least is on Nougat.

just noticed as I was downloading you have the windy build (maybe someone else has the scorpion 12/25 RR build) appeciate your help though

    Installation
    • Unlock bootloader
    • Flash TWRP via Fastboot
    • Boot into Recovery
    • Install aicp zip
    • (Optional) Install GApps
    • Reboot

    CAUTION
    If you don't use "3.10 kernel based TWRP" (like 3.4 kernel based TWRP),
    you cannot reboot into recovery until flasing 3.4 based boot.img like cm-12.1 boot.img.

    • Android 7.1 is still under development!!
      Many problems persists in this version!!!
    • Many configrations exists. But under development. Sometimes FC.

    Haha, yes well, like I said before, I have no experiencie doing this what so ever. My main expertise is technical, building computers and systems. So I've setup a virtual machine (lubuntu xenial) and managed to get the sony and RR repo's synced. But I haven't yet managed to get them merged, forked or build in any way.
    Not even sure what I should do first :confused: . Maybe someone here could give me some hints. A friend with very good programing skills offered to help me get it going. But both him and me are rather busy family guys, so it will take a while. And koron's RR build is still running fine on my scorpion_windy so I'm in no rush :angel:

    5.8.2 source is out for a while.RR rom is the best what we can have on Z3C as it has the most customization integrated
    I hope that there will be new update with magisk. Regards

    Nice find Will integrate it into next version. I sadly do not own a windy so I could not help there. Strangely no one told me that GPS is not working for them in my threads yet :)
