Oh. I have no idea. Dunno if this helps but I've seen some ppl using antutu or something like that. Not sure. However, I myself used my phone on the ENGBOOT for a month. The difference is crazy.

Here is proof
Says I defeated 37 percent of their users. Hope that's a good score.
I got about the same score. Going to flash back to the eng boot loader and see if there is a difference. Is there anything aside from clearing my dalvik and other caches to make sure the phone is good for a test anyone else can think of?

It seems from that picture that you are on the v firmware. That test is from before?

The AP can take some time to load. Depending on the speed of the pc, it can even say Odin is not responding. Give it a minute or 2. It will load.

If you are unrooting because of lag, why don't you try my method?
Why this happens is when flashing a different bootloader you wipe the dalvik cache. Im going to redo the root thread one of these days I will put your suggestion in or feel free to post your own you can use my root files i dont care. There are actually newer ones that people to the liberty too post other places some without even asking so I just kinda let it go. I just figured most of us run unrooted modded roms with my quick root unroot method because you may feel the lag is gone and battery is good until you actually put the stock boot.img back and your like oh my god. We are getting 8 to 10 hrs screen on time or normal use full 24 hrs with 4 or 5 hrs of screen on time. Oreo is out and there is no root so root is kind of a dying thing. Chainfire ceased development on all his apps flashfire will cease to work soon even on paid version. If you havent tried one of the modified unrooted roms I highly suggest you do. Xposed still works on them samsung pay. They pass safety net. Best of both worlds In stangs rom you still have all his mods working.

I didn't get all that you said. Just to be clear I am on STOCK firmware and ROOTED. There is no lag because it is STOCK.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but this method should be able to be used on any new phone with laggy engboot method.

And for some reason flashfire never worked for me on this phone. Crashed constantly.

I thought the steps for this was to use the eng_boot file to gain root. Then you flashed the file you posted after you had gained root to get rid of the lag issues. As far as flashfire if you have the pro version it is fine. The reason it is crashing is they had a blow_up function set for 4/1/2018 i think that is the right date and they havent released an update to fix that. It isnt that the software is broken. You can change the date on your phone to say 2/1/2018 and it will work fine.

I did use the ENGBOOT to gain root. Flashing the BL file after removed the ENGBOOT and still retained root.

I have used the firmware files from this post on xda.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/at...7-0-g935uoym4bqd2-4-11-17-g935u-t3616834/amp/

Download G935U ODIN Firmware
Thanks @MafiaIlluminati

https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120745969

I used PrinceComsys Odin.
Download Link.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AQuCcQ3MFskTc4yj_WODUYsZ1DGdHaKT/view?usp=drivesdk

1. I flashed my g935v with these firmware files. (I was already rooted with ENGBOOT so I checked "Phone Bootloader Update" in odin).

2. After that, I flashed the engboot.

Engboot Download

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1neJqdeOaxWklBgREfzoh6NVroa_I6mTl/view?usp=drivesdk

3. Then I rooted. Download the file below.

https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=889764386195909311

Then follow this method from @jrkruse. (Just the root part).

https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-s7-edge/how-to/root-method-nougat-t3566978

4. Then I flashed the BL file in the BL slot from the g935u firmware with odin and checked "Phone Bootloader Update"

Congratulations! You are ROOTED WITH NO LAG![/QUOTE]

Sorry for the late reply. Been busy. Not sure. Like I said, I'm not a developer. But there are other posts on XDA (such as the one that has the g935u firmware files that I podted) that explain. Lmk how it goes for u.
