Just search for the apps in the uninstalled section and select them then select restore from the drop down menu on the bottom right cornergot the thanx alot.. however iam unable to restore them.. how can I restore them.. haven't taken any backup before uninstalling them through ADB app control
Take a look at this comparison. To my knowledge, gsmarena is a reliable source for phone specifications.I'm confused, specs say it's larger in every side, keeping the same screen size, it can only mean less screen/body ratio
Thank you for letting me know, I now have a better understanding on the 2 options.
restricted_device_performance is the settings key for "Limit CPU speed by 70%" in power saving mode settings. Valid left value is either 0 (disabled) or 1 (enabled). If set to other value, it's interpreted as 0. Value on the right does nothing.Thank you for letting me know, I now have a better understanding on the 2 options.
However, I still do not fully get what "restricted_device_performance 1,1" is.
1. What is it setting exactly with those 2 numbers? I remember reading that somebody set it to 0.7,0.7 and somehow that was a sweetspot but for what exactly? I don't get what this does.
2. If 1,1 is the default, how come someone else's default was actually 0,1 and not 1,1?
Thank you for helping me better understand what these commands do.
1. The autor is on a S22Hi guys! I have not done any tweaks or upgrades to my S21 Ultra for about 7 months (debloated with this topic ADB script version current, current as of then - and as it disabled software updates - did not update the phone software since then). So, Questions:
1. Is S21 Ultra debloat list maintained, or topic author moved on to s23?
2. For S21 Ultra - if I update - will I see worse battery life? How was your experience with new features/latest version of debloat lists?
3. How do I do so many months of updates? Restore all apps, then update, then debloat with latest lists?
Thank you so much!!
How come then, that according to OP, the default value is 1 which would mean that Limit CPU speed by 70% would be enabled by default which is clearly not the case.restricted_device_performance is the settings key for "Limit CPU speed by 70%" in power saving mode settings. I haven't checked the default value (it may vary). But note it only applies when power saving mode is enabled. How come then, that according to OP, the default value is 1 which would mean that Limit CPU speed by 70% would be enabled by default which is clearly not the case.
So after all we're not sure what it does or helps with? What would be the difference between setting restricted_device_performance to 0 and 1?I haven't checked the default value. But note it only applies when power saving mode is enabled.

You are right, I figured it out now.
Did anyone test out 1,0 ? Maybe it will limit the CPU to 70% without power saving mode that way. What else could the second digit mean ?You are right, I figured it out now.
restricted_device_performance is the "Limit CPU speed by 70%" toggleable option in the Power Saving menu. If you do "adb shell get global estricted_device_performance" and it returns:
0,1 - it means that when you turn on Power Saving mode, it will not limit the CPU to 70%.
1,1 - when you turn on Power Saving mode, your CPU will be limited to 70%.
So technically, setting this option to 1,1 does not save you battery unless you turn on Power Saving mode in the phone's

Apparently, the second number is useless.Did anyone test out 1,0 ? Maybe it will limit the CPU to 70% without power saving mode that way. What else could the second digit mean ?
Won't need to, s23 ultra battery is a different animal compared to S22 ultraI'm sorry in advance if my following questions aren't suitable to be asked here. I'll be getting a S23U soon;
1) Is it safe for me to use the preset on the phone, are they the same on every model?
2)Do I have to enable/restore all of the apps that have been disabled/uninstalled if there are major OS updates in the future?
Thank you!
but still maxing out its capabilities is the best.Won't need to, s23 ultra battery is a different animal compared to S22 ultra
Do you have one in your hands?Won't need to, s23 ultra battery is a different animal compared to S22 ultra
Only second full charge. Multitasking, a little bit of gaming, 2k 120hz, auto brightness, installing like 50 programs at once. Zero lag, no issues at all. I'm pretty sure It will improve even more.
Please use the search in this thread!Does anyone still have all the ADB commands and extreme debloat saved? May you please DM/PM/message them to me?
