@SoLdieR9312 Any chance to add in the mods pack some cool stuff like "Fingerprint unlock after reboot", "5 way power menu", Bixby remap to kill currently active app? Or may I know how to edit the things above myself?

Thank you

Is the Gear VR headset use supported in this ROM, or has someone maybe found out how to manually enable it? When I plug in my headset nothing happens, and I've already tried uninstalling all related Oculus APKs...

Edit - After some research it looks like maybe Gear VR functionality was stripped from this ROM, but it's been rather difficult to track down all the required files; I'm going to see if I can get this started with only the Gear VR SetupWizardStub installed in /system/app first and go from there.

OK I figured out how to get Gear VR up and running on this ROM! I just downloaded the below APK and moved it to /system/app/, then after a reboot I used Nova Launcher to add a shortcut to the Gear VR SetupWizardStub activity. Once you start that activity it'll ask to install all necessary apps, and everything has so far worked perfectly from there. I played a few games and got the controller working, no issues yet!

The new feature to set default Bluetooth codec to aptxHD doesn't work. My headphone still is connected via LDAC codec. Worth to mention that in the list of available codecs I only have aptX not aptXHD.

Like before, I have to manually jump to developer settings and change codec to aptx in order to use V4A.

Please could you fix this?

Ldac is better then aptx, thats why it still auto select ldac.
In latest rom i fixed the typo in installer, there is no aptx hd on s9 devices. It will just force aptx if device support it. So nothing needs fixing.

That's right LDAC is nearly a lossless codec and Viper4A and Dolby does not work or recognized the sound output when the headphones were connected using LDAC, that's why I prefer to use aptX. I doubt that's because of better codec, there is another report from other user here.

Update: Viper4A should work with LDAC if Bluetooth Audio Sample rate set to 48.0 kHz instead of 96.0 kHz.

I think this will be a very stupid question, sorry for that but i had to ask;
@SoLdieR9312 , I saw this Blog post on XDA with a test build of Android 9 with Samsung Experience 10. Will this be classified as stable (i think not) and almost ready to base your roms on or is this WAY WAY WAY to early?

That "not working" report isn't really one, because SBC is default codec and 99,99% of devices out there only support SBC, not even aptx.
I've only added the aroma option because someone else said he always add this lines to build prop to make it work. If too many people complain
about non working, i'll just remove and you can set yourself if needed :)

You need to be on a Custom ROM based on the Version of the MOD Zip!

    1. Make a backup of your current device state, so you can go back if something is broken
    2. Flash a Custom ROM based on the current MOD ZIP, i highly recommended [ALEXNDR]s DevBase
    3. DO NOT WIPE system! [Mod zip do not contain a full rom!]
    4. Flash the matching MOD ZIP in TWRP [example: Custom ROM is DTD7 -> DTD7 Mod]
    5. Flash latest Twrp Flashable Firmware
    6. Device will reboot after Firmware flash
    7. Enjoy

If you want to update to new base, simply flash the Custom ROM Update, then my mod zip, done.

    Hey Guys,

i'm uploading v23.0 based on CSJ1 (October Security Patch Base) (will be done in about 2 hours..)
CSJ1 Firmware and DualSim + SDCard Mod are already up on my webpage.

    Changelog will be:
-rebased to CSJ1 (October Security Patch Base)
-updated Stock patched Kernel to CSJ1
    -updated Magisk to v20.0
    -updated AdAway to 4.2.9

As all of you know, i do not own a S9 series device anymore since March, so i'm only able to fix issues by getting logs and clear description of what is not working.
The ROM comes with everything that was included in July, when i stopped the project.
As i got many pm's in the last time, that it would be nice to see my project back, i have decided to push a update to the ROM and see how it will go.

The new Telegram Support Chat can be found here.

EDIT: Rom is up. As always, do a nandroid before flashing, in case of something goes wrong!

    13.0 released

ROM rebased to CRLI (Android 9.0 | PIE)
    December Security Patch Base
Stock patched Kernel rebased to CRLI
    added some more debloat options
    ROM Updater 1.0.6 added:
    supports PIE ROM now
    fixed all links for webpage

NO Custom Kernel until Sources drops for Pie.
Do not even try to boot with Oreo Kernel ;)

Coming from OREO i would do a Clean flash, otherwise strange issues will mess the UI.
Coming from PIE Beta a Dirty flash will be fine.

Merry XMAS to all, and thanks for your support in 2018!

Sorry for the delay this month guys, but 17.0 is now online. Should appear in some minutes on my servers.
