Hi, I have a little doubt and I hope you guys can help me understand....sorry for the inconvenience....
I bought a s9 recently, Latin America version, with snapdragon, model SM-G9600.

Then my question is if its possible to install this custom rom in my s9...
could anyone clarify me about this?

thanks

What CSC, and does it say VoLTE in the corner? It won't even let me toggle it on.

Hi
I use XEF csc France it enable Volte and Wifi call.
After flashing the csc zip. Reboot and check if Volte is enable.
If not, keep sim card in the s9, reflash the soldier's rom
And you are good I had the same issue before.
You must be sure that your provider had activated Volte option for your sim card
Try my csc https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_rJwZmPlLoN2S52ylKfbh15oqwLdMDR4/view?usp=drivesdk
Good luck

Isn't OPS the CSC? Unless I'm a scrub lol. I can toggle it without issues. Maybe soldier's rom is preserving the CSC from the MultiCSC thing from Devbase when I initially flashed that after installing TWRP. Idk :/ have had other strange issues though like not being able to use screen recording.

That's what I thought but I keep reading multiple things, I was under the impression Optus use OXM, do you think you can upload your CSC for me to try out? Can happily donate couple bucks for your time if need be cause I'm unable to find it elsewhere.

Ahaha I'm not going to charge you ? and AFAIK Optus is OPS, in the CSC settings it includes the My Optus app package.

You should have all the files CSC required for OPS in /odm/once/single/OPS. I'm not sure how to set the device to use OPS except perhaps with system/etc/soldier9312/resetprop?

I have OPS in there, it was set to TEL in the resetprop, not sure if that it what I have to change to OPS or if its anything else?

That's Telstra's CSC lol. That may have something to do with it. Try changing that to OPS and rebooting and look in Settings, About Phone, Software Information, and underneath 'Service provider SW ver.' will be something that's says CSC/CSC/ or CSC/CSC/CSC/. Does it says TEL or OPS? Check that before and after the reboot when changing the reset prop

This is what it says after reboot and changing it to OPS

I thought as soon as I seen it that could of been the issue. It won't even let me toggle it on in the quick settings title, it is enabled via optus and it originally used to work and say VoLTE in the status bar. So confused.

Yep okay you've get the Telstra CSC. That would be your issue. I'm not sure how to explicitly change your CSC as I've never needed to mess with it before. Perhaps soldier can help? Worst case scenario, Devbase has a documented way to select your CSC

Ah okay, that explains a lot. Do you have any opinion soldier? And do you have a link to the certain devbase I need to look at?

Okay so I Managed to sort it out.

I had to go into EFS>imei>MPs.dat, changed it from TEL to OPS and I now have VoLTE on my status bar. Although my status bar QS setting mods and other things reset back to original now I have to re arrange them, no big deal.

You need to be on a Custom ROM based on the Version of the MOD Zip!

    1. Make a backup of your current device state, so you can go back if something is broken
    2. Flash a Custom ROM based on the current MOD ZIP, i highly recommended [ALEXNDR]s DevBase
    3. DO NOT WIPE system! [Mod zip do not contain a full rom!]
    4. Flash the matching MOD ZIP in TWRP [example: Custom ROM is DTD7 -> DTD7 Mod]
    5. Flash latest Twrp Flashable Firmware
    6. Device will reboot after Firmware flash
    7. Enjoy

If you want to update to new base, simply flash the Custom ROM Update, then my mod zip, done.

    Hey Guys,

i'm uploading v23.0 based on CSJ1 (October Security Patch Base) (will be done in about 2 hours..)
CSJ1 Firmware and DualSim + SDCard Mod are already up on my webpage.

    Changelog will be:
-rebased to CSJ1 (October Security Patch Base)
-updated Stock patched Kernel to CSJ1
    -updated Magisk to v20.0
    -updated AdAway to 4.2.9

As all of you know, i do not own a S9 series device anymore since March, so i'm only able to fix issues by getting logs and clear description of what is not working.
The ROM comes with everything that was included in July, when i stopped the project.
As i got many pm's in the last time, that it would be nice to see my project back, i have decided to push a update to the ROM and see how it will go.

The new Telegram Support Chat can be found here.

EDIT: Rom is up. As always, do a nandroid before flashing, in case of something goes wrong!

    13.0 released

ROM rebased to CRLI (Android 9.0 | PIE)
    December Security Patch Base
Stock patched Kernel rebased to CRLI
    added some more debloat options
    ROM Updater 1.0.6 added:
    supports PIE ROM now
    fixed all links for webpage

NO Custom Kernel until Sources drops for Pie.
Do not even try to boot with Oreo Kernel ;)

Coming from OREO i would do a Clean flash, otherwise strange issues will mess the UI.
Coming from PIE Beta a Dirty flash will be fine.

Merry XMAS to all, and thanks for your support in 2018!

Sorry for the delay this month guys, but 17.0 is now online. Should appear in some minutes on my servers.
Firmware and dualsimcard mod is also up on my webpage.
