a log would be nice to have, never heard about such an issue with debloat, because i only added stuff, that is not linked to any other apk, to make sure, nothing broke when removed.

The Q mod is not a full ROM. I suggest you flash Alexander DevBase first. It's on XDA, you can download it there and there is a guide on how to install that. After that you can flash Soldiers.
Since you go from Pie to Q you need full wipe and Q BL, but this is also on Alexander's thread.
My banking app has even less issues than the McDonalds-app when it comes to root, so I cannot really comment on that subject. Depends on your bank.
With DevBase+Soldier you should have phone recording option.

I could NOT get TSB and BOS app to work after root magisk hide so I just unrooted.
It seems to me on rooted devices even with hide the security verification certificate does not pass with the banking apps also FYI the indeed jobs app doesn't pass security checks when device is rooted.

And YES the phone recording works good as I have tested it
Properly.

I am also facing this issue on an old build.I have never been able to get assistant to work with 'okay Google' as it asks me to turn it on and then goes to record my voice and then turns assistant checkbox slider off again and says that my voice model already exists. Kind of a bad loop.
