Should layers work on this rom? I know slimLP has rro/layers support does not seem to work on this ROM nothing shows up in /system/vendor/overlay when I try to install.

Another thing I noticed is casting to my nexus player is not working. It sees it but when I try to connect it just disconnects. I can pull a log if you need one.

So just for ****s and giggles I tried to copy the apks to /system/vendor/overlay some overlays work but settings is borked it always shows a white background for some reason. Just thought I would share if someone wanted to give it a try.

- It won't work without the RRO commits :)
- Amongst other things they move the resources from the framework and apps from been hard-coded to configurable from XML files
- If they don't get merged within the next few days I'll merge them into my new build
- I have started looking into USB OTG, the port doesn't seem to provide any power at all to devices - I don't know whether it can or not - for the moment using a powered hub.
- Been trying to find out what USB transceiver is on board and how it's wired.
- So this thread doesn't get littered about USB OTG- new thread here

I had similar issues and to correct, I used the latest
tk gapps, 5.11 20150906 stock on apollo and all is well... Perhaps a link instead of an static old version would help in OP?

No problems with Amazon Instant Video either, download feature works too...

- Good point, I have updated the link for tk gapps to point to the xda thread
- From there everyone can just install their preferred version

Love the Lollipop on my Apollo, Thanks a lot for this. Working fine as of now. Was wondering is there a way to get Dolby working on this? Cause sound on original Firmware with Dolby is just fantastic. Again thanks a lot for your hard work to make this device fantastic again.

- Did you look at Post #3 on this thread?
- You shouldn't need to flash SuperSU at all with this ROM.
- SuperSU-2.49 is the correct version for lollipop in case you still want it.
