How would you get out of a bootloop with flashfire? Why do most people use safestrap when flashfire is so much more convenient? Just curious if I'm missing something

Don't screw up in the first place? Just saying.... You can do the same old step as when you bootlooped with safestrap. I honestly have never had that problem with either. Wouldn't be using these roms today if it weren't for safestrap, but flash fire is so convenient. Like I said, to each his ownHow would you get out of a bootloop with flashfire?

It has a feature that aborts install if am error is detected. That doesn't mean something can't go wrong when it's too late. You would have to flash via odin and restart the whole process with root and all.I have never bootlooped with safestrap.
I am looking to learn all the ins and outs of flashfire, but flashfire is an app.
If you bootloop, how do you get back to it?
Yes it should but the one with the 3minit battery mod , may not work because 3minit resource files might need updated. Also remember there are some FC isuues becuase of the framework overlays which I could never work out so thats why I quit using the framework overlay.@jrkruse, will your dark it up v6 from your oc4 thread work on this? I'm going for the look your dark it up 29 had on 4.4. It's hard to find layers from the play store that work.

Just to be clear if convenient relates to quickness, with my safestrap without odin feature vs flashfire then here you go. To click on each app load the app flash rom and return to a booted up rom the safestrap method took 1 min 30 seconds less than flashfire. So I tried again this time let my friend do it as he is not as familiar with safestrap as me everything the same results= safestrap 1min 3 sec faster than flashfire. I would say safestrap isnt that big of inconvenience!Don't screw up in the first place? Just saying.... You can do the same old step as when you bootlooped with safestrap. I'm coming from 4.4.2 Extreme debloat 1.5. I have not updated Safestrap since its original install.
Do I flash Rooting_Tools_For_S5_Lollipop_V3.zip as a preliminary step?
Then goto step 4:
"4. Download these 3 zips and extract them and copy the folders containing the zips to your sdcard. They are not flashable because you but the zips inside the folders are flashable and are needed in safestrap later on. If your already rooted skip to step 19 after you extract these zips to your sdcard
Stock_Firmware_Zip.zip
Stock_Kernel_Zip.zip
RootS5.zip"
Then simply use your "ZW_BOG5_STOCK_ROM_DEODEXED.zip" in step 19 and follow 20 right?
Also is the debloat.zip the same as others where run from computer with debug enabled?
Thanks for your work and any help for my questions.
Its all good im just trying to let people know that safestrap is not as big of a deal as it once was for us to use. Im just rying to save people the headaches that I have had. I mean trust me I have flashed probably as much as anyone on this thread and I pretty much know what I am doing, so if its happened to me its going to happen to you or who ever. I would just hate to see someone loose a picture or something special that was lost on the internal storage of the phone because of a miss flash. Here is a perfect example I was testing my mods for this rom that I am working on and I flashed a zip in flashfire because I wanted to test a themed version of it well to cut to the point the zip I flashed was set to erase the touchwiz home apk and replace it with a modded one but the flash failed it rebooted but since there was no home launcher I couldnt do anything and they system ui was fc so If I had not had safestrap installed I would have had to start all over from scratch but since I did have it installed I fired up odin flashed ncg kernel booted to safestrap flashed a older mod zip and was able to reboot back to working rom. I test alot of stuff and safestrap makes it alot easier if things dont work right which in turn lets me get it right so the stuff I put out will flash fine with flashfire or safestrap. I will no longer preach about safestrap this is my last rant!!! In the scope of things who cares right? Just as long as the outcome is what we want!Omg sensative Sally. Congrats.

Thank you, I really appreciate the reply.I have been using the original SS and never had a problem. Put the og 5 firmware , kernel and rom on your SD card. Flash the firmware , then rom., then just to be safe the kernel and your good to go.
On Lollipop you can only enter safestrap from the rom. If rom will not boot you would have to manually install ncg or other kitkat kernel to get the splash screen to boot to recoveryNvm found it

So I went to the Lollipop Safestrap Recovery App, did the install safestrap option, granted SU access, it installed, says installed. i then went to the recovery reboot option, clicked flash, then once in safestrap I flashed the OG5 kernel and rebooted however I still do not see a splashscreen for safestrap on startup, any idea why? Just teh S5 screen with the unlocked symbol and then goes to the samsung screen then to verizon then it is booted.
