Could you be kind enough and upload it to mega as baidu is not working for me..

Also, will it work on L29 if I rebrand it to AL10 using the SRKTool?

I can't create an account on Baidu now, so I can't help.
I think that without rebranding phone to AL10, Nougat updates cannot be installed, so that's the only way to do it.

I agree , anyone who can download and upload to another site. I have L29C636 and I completely debrand to AL10 to install this beta,but I can use only 1 sim.
if you would like to use both sim you have to use your own oeminfo.

I debranded and booted this beauty

back to excitement.
Problem is even one sim is not recognised, I wonder why?
Is the problem with SIM1 or SIM2 buddy?

My side, none of the SIMs are being recognised. Any idea what to do?
I use only one sim, and I dont use 4G

as its not there at my area

The problem with SIM1 . if you would like to use both SIM. You should install it via TWRP use the original oeminfo and custom.bin

what's link that you download for B040 ? I installed B027.

Why it is showing 16GB and 1.8GHz Octacore?

How is the lockscreen?
can notification be expanded like on AOSP? will it show podcast players and the commands?

somboons, I downloaded that from 040 link and I downloaded the android app and through it downloaded the file with a good donload speed of about 500KBPS+

I first installed via TWRP but after rebooting the nougat locked the boot. Will unlock and do the oem info installation and see. If this goes fine, I will stick to this as daily driver

If I am not wrong, one of your friend bought this mate 8 from Dubai for me

Lockscreen functionalty is working fine :cowboy:

what's link that you download for B040 ? I installed B027.

I have al10 model... Can u guide me how to use the oeminfo and custom.bin... And shoul I flash it directly from twrp as a zip.

For me everything is working

after flashing just cust.img via fastboot as i was unable to boot into twrp

Now this maybe a huge ledback as I am unable to boot into twrp 4.0 ot twrp 4.1 versions

From the stock browser, I downloaded EFS file explorer and installed and then via huawei backup app reinstalled few apps and all are working fine now

Are you fastboot cust.img via fastboot after unlock bootloader on beta test ? and where can I get cust.img ?
can you upload B040 to another site ?
