I can't say for sure but i think only major thing seems remain is to make camera2 api work with SELinux enforced.

Which is actually very tough task in my opinion because No one till date touched it, everyone since N uses some sort of hack to get around but @amaces from unlegacy is trying very hard for it. So if he succeeds we will get rock stable rom with everything working without hack 1st time since MM. Also i think it'll easier to port next versions i.e P if all this works out.

So let's just hope rather than giving LOS 15 quickly he actually get success in his hardwork.

No, not yet because I don't have a Sim Card in my N5 at the Moment. It's solely a WiFi Device to keep it with me in the Gym etc. where I wouldn't bring my Pixel.

But I'm using it with Bluetooth Headset to listen to Music. Also I remember I read somewhere that the Dev said this is incredible hard to fix because of the nature of the Nexus 5 being this old which is quite understandable.

It boggles my mind that we've got one Bluetooth channel working correctly, and all the others are distorted. Last time I tried, the media channel worked, but the phone and notification and alarm channels were all borked. Now I don't have a Bluetooth capable car, so I'm not even trying at the moment, but I need to get that rectified.

Otherwise, DU works mostly great.

Rather use Magisk, It's much better.

SuperSU is dying/dead.

(if you alresy installed SuperSU, you need to use complete uninstall from App , dirty falsh rom then install Magisk)

There's one magisk module.
Don't know if it'll work for sure but give it a try.

I don't have a link now but if you search it you'll find it in Oreo Rom collection thread or may be in magisk repo as well.

Hey guys.

Coming from lineageOS with an encrypted phone, I flashed DU 12.1 official today.
Everything gone ok, phone is asking me the PIN to decrypt the phone (let's say the pin is 1234) and boot.

Then, I wanted to enable a screen lock PIN code. I set the same PIN I had using before (1234), enable secure start-up, reboot.
Then the phone is still asking me the PIN to decrypt, but say 1234 is incorrect.
I rebooted into recovery with TWRP, 1234 does not work, but 0000 works. Try to reboot and start the phone with 0000 : "Incorrect"

So I wiped everything, and reencrypt the phone using DU. Reboot, enable PIN + secure start-up to 1234. Reboot, same problem. Incorrect PIN.

Is there any way to get DU working with an encrypted phone ?

It's a good Question but honestly I don't think many in here are encrypting their old N5.

You've got to wipe storage (can be done via fastboot or TWRP), then flash ROM and encrypt again.

Thanks for the advice, but I also tried this without any success : Wipe the whole phone (including data), flash DU, and encrypt using DU.

It might be a BUG in DU.

Report it on DU JIRA with proper explanation, see what's their reply.

Exactly same issue !
I was in stock rom before flashing.

Camera driver breaks from time to time and no camera app works until you restart
Also video recordings comes up jittery (on every camera app) so it MUST be the drivers
(latest official build)
