looks good, I have been using the below similar method since OOS 10 came out and just updated to 10.3.12 successfully using it too.

1. Disable Automatic system updates in developer options
2. Go to (Magisk Manager → Uninstall → Restore Images) *Do not reboot* This step is required before doing any of the following steps written below!
3. Apply OTAs from (Settings → System → System Update → Install), *do not press* “Restart now” or “Reboot” button!
4. To keep TWRP - Go to Magisk Manager download and install TWRP A/B Retention Script ZIP.
5. Magisk Manager → Install → Install to Inactive Slot and install Magisk to the slot that the OTA just updated to.
6. After installation is done, press the reboot button in Magisk Manager

After updating to 10.3.12 the Phone services are getting stopped. Showing no Sim. Anyone has the same problem here?
I had that issue, but not after installing. Instead, I had it after trying to load Magisk to the inactive slot.
I didn't troubleshoot it much; instead, I did a factory reset and that cleared the problem.
If I were to troubleshoot it, I would try to reload the default boot images and see if that resolves it. Dirty flashing the same rom did not fix it for me.

when I flash the magisk patched boot image I get stuck in an infinite boot. I have gravity box and riru edexposed installed, would uninstalling the apps fix the issue?

edit:
tryed uninstalling the apps and then flashing again, same thing. Any alternative to this method since twp currently fails on 11

Installed Android 11 with ease.

Buy I can't get rid of Pre-installed Google apps like Chrome , Drve etc.

I go in Recovery of latest TWRP, Mount system, Fie manager...

Can't find those apps, look they're hidden?

Any idea?

In Android 10 they were easy to remove that way.

Am I doing something wrong?

Updated to A11 from 10.3.12 using the same method I was using to update A10 versions. I was a bit hesitant since many people were mentioning fastboot and patched images. In my case I did the following:

    Local update
    Don't Reboot
Install latest official TWRP from Magisk
    Don't Reboot
    Install Magisk (OTA option)
    Reboot

    Worked Perfectly.
This is the way to go, thanks a bunch!

got the OTA to upgrade to andoid 11, did the magisk method no issues

now, Idk what oneplus was thinking when they decided to make the FIRST item in the settings menu the oneplus account? ridiculous

anyway these are the offending apps

    com.oneplus
    com.oneplus.account

UNINSTALL if you want the settings menu to look proper

Where and how do we uninstall this visual monstrosity? lol!

I saw this when I upgraded and was like this is annoying, visually horrific too.

Make me think of the new MS Windows 10/11 Setting banner...what were they thinking...

    ✌🏻

These software companies should at least have an enable/disable options...

What if I'm already on 11 with unlocked bootloader what can I do. Any help would be awesome.. Thanks
I'm not sure where the magisk zip files for root are hosted for download, you used to be able to download the zips from the app directly. But you'd need a TWRP img and boot to it from fastboot with fastboot boot TWRP.img and then install the magisk zip from there. Again unsure where to actually grab the zip files since i haven't seen the option in the magisk app for a while.

With your help, we have been able to better optimize and improve several key areas. Thank you for your patience and as always, we look forward to getting your continued feedback via the Community app.

    Root

Warning: Do not flash partial update OTAs (under 1 GB) on a modified/rooted device! If you want to use partial OTAs, you must first flash the full OxygenOS zip that it applies to, and then flash the partial OTA from stock recovery. Flashing partial OTAs from TWRP will either fail or soft brick your device. You can return to a usable state by flashing one of the above full zips in recovery.

    Installation Instructions

Download the necessary files from the section above and follow the steps below:

Note: Dirty flashing is fine if you are running an old OxygenOS version or a ROM based on OxygenOS. If you are, however, coming from a Custom ROM, you must clean flash.

Caution: Please remove your existing screen lock/pin/pattern/password and set it to swipe before starting the update process.

For Non-Rooted Users with a Locked Bootloader and Stock Recovery

    1. Download the full ROM zip from the downloads section above and place it in the root of your internal memory
    2. Reboot to Stock Recovery > Shutdown device > Press Volume Down + Power buttons together
    3. Select Language > Install menu > Install from internal > Select the full zip > Flash
    4. Reboot to System
Note: First boot may take some time, so please be patient and wait for it to boot.

[Dirty Flash] For Users with an Unlocked Bootloader and TWRP Recovery coming from Stable OxygenOS, OxygenOS Open Beta

    1. Download the full ROM zip and TWRP recovery from the downloads section above
    2. Transfer the full ROM zip and TWRP recovery to the root of your device's internal storage
    3. Reboot to TWRP recovery and take a nandroid backup of your existing ROM
    4. From the TWRP menu, Install > Select full ROM zip > Swipe to flash
    5. From the TWRP menu, Install > Select TWRP recovery zip > Swipe to flash
    6. Reboot to TWRP recovery
    7. Flash the latest stable Magisk in case you want to root
    8. Reboot to System
Note: First boot may take some time, so please be patient and wait for it to boot.

Warning: Dirty flashing (update) can be risky! Remember that if you face issues after dirty flashing, you will have to clean flash.

[Clean Flash] For Users with an Unlocked Bootloader and TWRP Recovery

    7. From the TWRP menu, Wipe > Swipe to wipe
    8. Flash the latest stable Magisk in case you want to root
    9. Reboot to System
Note: First boot may take some time, so please be patient and wait for it to boot.

    Never Settle.

    Hello XDA,

I would like to thank you all for your patience and for maintaining your cool keeping the thread under control. I had to close my 5/5T update threads at the time of Pie release delays and there was lot of drama. None the less the build should pass CTS soon and should be ok to roll out thereafter.

I had to close the official thread once and multiple clean-ups were required over the last few days. I am glad that there is no such escalation here and would like to once again appreciate the level of patience and understanding.

Having said all this, the update should be on its way in the coming days, so all we ask for is a little more patience.

    We are Almost there ...

Thank you for your patience and cooperation,
