quite happy with Beta Android 11... the only thing dropped is gpay with paypal.
Paypal is set up (also removed and set up again), but no aception on NFC terminals.
Paypal is listed as paymethod, but with "not set up" notice with remove option only.
TWRP 3.5.2, Magisk Canary, "Beta Android 11 FIX" release.

deleted google service data/cache and set up gpay again - fixed

I'm on CherishOS right now and happy so far, but the camera/gallery issues all these custom 11 roms are plagued by are bugging me. How is it with the official 11 beta - are camera and gallery working entirely?
Been using since it rolled out and camera/gallery is working well. The only significant issue was Gmail notifications, but that was resolved by disabling battery optimization for the Gmail app.

Is Gmail really work after disable battery optimization?? I've tried it but it only work for a short time. I also have issue with Fingerprint too. Now I'm on oos10.

Been receiving Gmail notifications for the last two days. Also, I have no issues with fingerprint. Overall, pretty happy with Beta 76.

So today I do a clean install OOS 11 beta 2 on my OP6T. I found out this wired google play game syncing. Usually Google play game have nothing to do with apps as I know but on beta 2 when I uninstall some app the notification pop up say "syncing game process". Wtf.... It's not big deal but wired 🤣🤣🤣.
I have Google play game installed on my phone but it never happened before on previous version.

I just wanted to say that I am now running the Beta 2 (6T) with no issues whatsoever (rooted, running TWRP). Really impressed by how quick and smooth everything is. My 6T has never run better, to be honest.

Didn't you notice performance on browser and social media app. They have reduced performance just like op9pro. Sometimes it becomes unusable. It's take forever to load content inside web pages.

I benchmark browser and only get 12-15.
30+ on OOS 10.
Such a shame. Maybe custom ROM is better at time (for me)

I did notice pages in Chrome taking a while to load, which seemed to be related to the ads. So I installed AdAway and got a dramatic improvement in load time. It's really fast now. Never had an issue with social media apps (I use FB, IG, and Twitter).

How's Magisk running on beta A11? Anyone have that installed, and what modules are working if so?
Just recently updated to the latest A10 with a custom kernel and running so smooth with excellent battery life! Thinking of updating to beta! Hoping it's worth it or perhaps waiting for the official release at least!

I'm waiting for the stable release. There are many reports that it will be released this month. Beta 2 has been given positive feedback for the 6T.

I finally took the jump today to check out how this beta 2 is, so far so good on the 6t international converted. I found out earlier that Substratum pitch black theme, causes a crash dump and, requires the device to be msm'd. Lesson learned, I guess I can't play around too much with the system as I have on previous Android versions. Also glad to see No limits 12.4, call recording and, v4a are working. I'm going to keep playing around with it for a while. If I find anything else that can help some one, I will report back. *I just used sprite, ninga mode for the navigation bar. I personally prefer invisible Navi buttons.

Note: Dirty flashing is fine if you are running an old OxygenOS version or a ROM based on OxygenOS. If you are, however, coming from a Custom ROM, you must clean flash.

Caution: Please remove your existing screen lock/pin/pattern/password and set it to swipe before starting the update process.

For Non-Rooted Users with a Locked Bootloader and Stock Recovery

    1. Download the full ROM zip from the downloads section above and place it in the root of your internal memory
    2. Reboot to Stock Recovery > Shutdown device > Press Volume Down + Power buttons together
    3. Select Language > Install menu > Install from internal > Select the full zip > Flash
    4. Reboot to System
Note: First boot may take some time, so please be patient and wait for it to boot.

[Dirty Flash] For Users with an Unlocked Bootloader and TWRP Recovery coming from Stable OxygenOS, OxygenOS Open Beta

    1. Download the full ROM zip and TWRP recovery from the downloads section above
    2. Transfer the full ROM zip and TWRP recovery to the root of your device's internal storage
    3. Reboot to TWRP recovery and take a nandroid backup of your existing ROM
    4. From the TWRP menu, Install > Select full ROM zip > Swipe to flash
    5. From the TWRP menu, Install > Select TWRP recovery zip > Swipe to flash
    6. Reboot to TWRP recovery
    7. Flash the latest stable Magisk in case you want to root
    8. Reboot to System
Note: First boot may take some time, so please be patient and wait for it to boot.

    Thread cleaned.
Some posts were pointless, some were useless, most were complaints,
few were mature (but had to be removed since they were part of discussion )

Before posting in the thread , do the following steps.
1.)Read the thread title and first post.
2.) Check if the post you are going to make is relevant to thread
    3.)If not , don't post.

In case you are not happy with a manufacturer/update/firmware/blah-blah-blah then make your decision with your wallets.
Don't go on complaining around random threads for the sake of complaining.

@Funk Wizard any news on beta 8 or stable 9.0.13??

No ETA due to release policy/non disclosure agreement but, both are close. You may have already received the play store update launcher/shelf addition of new features if you opted for beta along with some other updates. The team is working relentlessly on the launcher/shelf and there are many more features planned which i wont be able to disclose currently but all i can say it would turn up to your virtual assistant in the times to come and will give you a lot of information on the go.

Also some additional features/mode is under final testing on the alphas so it should trickle down soon along with other tweaks and welcome additions.

Pie build for 3/3T is all cooked and certified and ready to be delivered really shortly now so once that gets out of the way the focus will be more getting the builds out every 10-14 days on betas & 30-60 days on the stable path.

Also OnePlus OEF Developer conference in to take place in Goa where some of the top developers to come together on one platform early next month which will further step up third party development for the current and upcoming device.

Lots happening behind the scenes so i would thank the community for being patient so far and request for continued support as there is a lot to come in the next 3 months :good:

    Stay Tuned :highfive:
