[DISCUSSION] How to write and recover the IMEI for SLOT 1 and SLOT 2 in MERLIN ? (Redmi Note 9 / Redmi 10X 4G)

As we all know, we can not restore the IMEI for SLOT1.
But as we are already tired of seeing, every day are several people with this same problem.
So we are opening this thread to discuss possibilities for how to recover the IMEI for SLOT1 too.
If you have any idea or discovered something, share with us so we can discover new possibilities, methods and solutions.

Possible Method # 1:​

This method was released by HALABTECH. This method was tested by @jasmin811
The idea is simple. Flash the ENGINEERING ROM, write the IMEI in META MODE and then flash the CUSTOM ROM: PixelPlusUI or PixelExperience.
Steps:
#1. Flash the ENGINEERING ROM:

#5. Restore the partition NVDATA.
#6. Flash the version AL2522-Merlin-V039-Q-0513 of the partition MD1IMG:

Nvram doesn't change nothing.
If you want to use nvdata on stock rom, you need to keep imei1 null/empty.

You need to write MAC address.

I can use sim card for now but i cannot make a call, but for internet is normal ,why i cant make a call even it have imei ?

imei not valid in your country.
you can check imei online(legal or not).

Are you sure you are using the SIM on slot 2 ?

you can check imei online(legal or not).

I think any IMEI is valid in any country.
We can born in some country and then fly to another country.

You need to recover IMEI first and then unlock bootloader.
Once you unlock bootloader, you can backup the unlocked bootloader:
