now from what I read and think is basically with the rite app this can gain elevated privileges
which i think the zvb update blocks this.
but from understanding and rumors this may be the next root method for 7.0 and below without lgs july updates
what are other peoples thought and readings about this say to them?

This vulnerability is way more dangerous than that. It has the potential to allow an attacker to infect a vulnerable device over Wi-Fi and without user intervention - and to make every infected device spread the infection to many more vulnerable devices. This should be patched ASAP.
Frankly, it's scary how many devices are no longer supported by the manufacturer and thus vulnerable.

Surprisingly, my old Galaxy S4 just got a security update a few days ago.
