So far 2 people i know haven't been able to find someone at tmobile to get the tablet offer even after telling about the on demand plan. They just respond by saying that plan no longer exist. Go figure.[emoji19]

I know man. I've had a similar issue with my promotion too. I ordered two Note 7 on my account and was expecting to get my hands on two free tablets but failed terribly. So far mentioning the on demand plan or speaking with a supervisor hasn't worked for me either [emoji19]

Has anyone rooted the Tab E and not debloated any apps? If so, could you copy system/app and system/priv-app and send them to me? I debloated mine and then deodex ed the rom. I would like to create a completely untouched deodexed rom for anyone who wants it.
Is the tab e rooted on the newest software 6.0?

I bought two note 7s on Saturday and paid for both outright. Still waiting on them to ship, but does anyone know if I can still take advantage of this promotion? I wasn't even aware of it until I just saw this thread...

You can do it yourself online. Just go to change plan/services for the line attached to the tablet.

Make a stink. Mine are finally arriving tomorrow.
Trust me, I did. I've spoken to a few supervisors as well and they all want me to pay for the 6 gigs every month. They keep saying that it's not possible to change the plan to on demand because that is not the promotion, and the lowest possible data plan is 2 gigs but that doesn't qualify either. Any other tips?

Nice how were you able to get it without a data plan?

Hey, sorry for getting back to you so late. I'm not sure, I like to think it has something to do with the fact that I've been with T-Mo for 15 or so years, but really I just called 611, and asked to speak to a manager, who was able to hook me up.

Something to keep in mind, there are a few call centers in the United States, and a massive one (or more), in the Philippines. They have both been good, but as of late, I've noticed the Managers out of the Philippines call centers are just really cool and good with people. I just said, 'look, this is what your website says, I want!', and after clacking a few keys, he just shipped the Tab E, as if I bought it, then subtracted the value of the Tab-E from my account. So, even though it was because of the promotion, I didn't actually DO the promotion. I just got the Tab E for free (aside from the $14.04 in taxes that couldn't be avoided).

Cool thing about the free 200MB SIM cards. No cap no overages, it just stops after you reach your 200 MB (a T-Mo rep actually told me that, it usually just keeps going after the 200MB anyway (throttled), though it could eventually stop for that month).

I figure hey. it's on Wi-Fi anyway, if I ever need it for the kids in the car, perfect. Hope that helps, although that promo is long gone.

Sorry realized, I had already replied to you.

I should add, there are a few different ways people had gone about the Tab E promo. I verified on my end, that the tablet I received is 100% free. No Data plan, nothing. Case should arrive by Friday, someone here, or in another thread sent me a link that includes case, screen protector, and stylus, for like 10 bucks or so.

I think this bundle is perfect.

Haha, I hear you man! It's for my young daughter mostly (keeps her away from Mommy and Daddy's expensive phones). So the big fat bulky pink and black + screen protector + stylus, is perfect for her. My eldest is only 2 years old, and that stylus will be perfect for her coloring (scribbling), in Kids Mode, hopefully the screen protector is halfway decent, because with kids, it's all grubby little fingers (no matter how many times you wash their hands).

I have to wipe down the screen of my 4K TV every day!!! She's learned not to touch the TV screen when I'm around, but as soon as I'm out of sight, she's nose to nose with the screen, interacting with her cartoon friends on the TV using her little fingers. haha.

BTW, there is a black one, it just won't be in stock until the 30th (this Tuesday). There is also a Black and Blue one that looks pretty nice (pictures posted on amazon).
