No such problem here.
Always make sure you do a clean install (wipe everything) and all will be ok.
Gingersnap is very stable for me, the only issue I found so far is the GPS location provider wakelock wich is caused by enableing gps and then disableing it. But hey, a reboot fixes the problem - so I can honestly say this is the best rom for p500 - stable, fast, good looking

So, you are saying, that if you use GPS, it will wakelock, and everytime you have to reboot phone????

don't forget to turn off GPS before rebooting.

What cause wakelock in the first place anyway?

Maybe a patch could fix this unpleasant issue.

But sadly neko95 has no time to develop this ROM now he updated ICy Snap two weeks ago and thats all for so long...
I think some other dev will have to check upon on that issue :good:

Hei , i have Ginger Snap v2.3 on my P500, worked great, i like it and its features a lot, great OC runs 825Mhz no problem and battery life is perfect.:victory:
But in the late time i get a lot of Force Colose`s when launching apps. I fixxed permissions from emulator: su enter emissions enter but still no change. I can fix it only by reset.

What can i do instead of fresh install ?
Also i don`t want to change the ROM any more, Id rather change the PHONE !!!

I guess i`m not the only one here so how can i fix ?

i re-installed the rom and tried again but i get the same problem

Hi! I flashed them yesterday and i had the same problem too! It seems that v2.3 has problems if we flash a theme on it. Try install apk themes and apply it via "theme chooser". Search this: "cyanogenmod 7 themes". Hope this helps

Guys in need help with neko95 icysnap golden eye ics rom...

After flashing d rom, during d google registration wifi turns on nd detects network, but goes out of range after a few seconds.... dat is it it never turns on again

I hv done more dan 3 reboots but no solution..... plz help

Guys i hv dis major problem with my phone.....

No ics rom i flash gives me wifi connection but i get wifi connection when i flash any jelly bean rom.... xpecialy Cm10 aokp 4.2.2 i get smooth wifi connection

Why isnt my phone not able to even detect a wifi conection with any ics rom i hv flashed including neko's icysnap....

I did make a clean install (wipe data -> cache -> dalvik -> battery stats -> format system -> install gingersnap v2.3 -> install GTR theme -> reboot) but it still had boot loop . Don't know what i did wrong

Boot once after installing GingerSnap. If it boots properly, install the GTR theme.

Open Terminal Emulator. Do the following:
1. Type su, press Enter.
2. Type the following, and press Enter:
sqlite3 /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db "INSERT INTO secure (name,value) VALUES ('device_provisioned','1');"
3. Your keys should now work. If not, reboot.
