Just do a search on 802.11ad
Probably not useful for pen testing. I had no idea the the WiHD radio on the V2 could be used for data transmission. WIHD had never been the top reason for me to get the V2.

Further reading, I don't think 802.11ad is the same as WirelessHD even though they operate on the same 60ghz signal./

Polite request, please can you concentrate on leaving comments with some substance or use to other forum members. These endless, long '+1' and smiley sessions are no more than spam, if you agree with what another contributor says, please simply thank them.

Thank you for the retort. In fact I expressed '+1' and Smileys in confirmation with the postings of @porkandbeans and @Boom515.If they have any objection in it I will wholeheartedly withdraw them.I think internet has introduced these shortcuts in order to make communication easier. And in xda even many eminent and well known developers are using them. However if you are feeling any kind of irritation in having used them by me I beg your pardon. And I shall make it a point not to use them in my comments relating to your posts.

In theory- we have two antennas working on quite different bands. I was just wandering... 60 GHz requires directional antenna. And needs to be precisely pointed to make effect without killing the battery. WiFi does better distance with weaker signals. Now, I have read a thing or two about those but haven't found any ideas about combining signals. Frequencies do alter one another ALOT. I know that because I own analogue synthesizer. Using Low Frequency Oscillator player can change the pitch and even strength of higher frequency. Newer synths do that with software. I mean... I haven't found anyone exploring that on mobiles so far. And this is one of first toys to have multiple band casting ability. Using proper harmonics on one, second signal caster could boost signal. In theory. This works for lower and higher source, but lower alters higher one more efficiently. Results should be interesting and I am eager to read more about this.

He's not talking about you thanking them, he's talking about you making a separate quote and reply for each and every post you agree with ("+1" or smilies). Doing it for every single post that you agree with is, well, very spammy. Instead, use the "Thanks" button located on each post. It expresses your approval and confirmation of that person's post without clogging up the forum with quoted replies and "+1"s.

Thanks for the clarification. In fact, together with expressing the shortcuts I also use press the THANKS button also. But in several cases I can not use the THANKS button as my limit of 8 nos is reached. So my use of shortcuts is a sort of alternative appreciation of their posts.

But all it does is spam the thread.

Saygus Takes the Saygus V2 (V-Squared) Super Smartphone International at Mobile World Congress
Saygus Sees Strong International Interest With Orders From 51 Different Countries

BARCELONA, SPAIN--(Marketwired - Mar 2, 2015) - (MWC Saygus Booth: Hall Congress Square Stand CS65) - The progressive American smartphone manufacturer, Saygus, today announced it will be demonstrating the Saygus V2 (pronounced V-Squared) for European and other international audiences at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

"Since its launch preview at CES in January, the V2 has been well received by media and consumers around the world," said Chad Sayers, Founder of Saygus. "In fact, we have now received orders from 51 different countries! We are thrilled by the media's enthusiastic reception as well. Because of its numerous innovations, the V2 has been called the 'Superman phone,' the 'Swiss Amy Knife of smartphones,' and the 'super-phone of super-phones.' It has also won a number of industry awards in addition to Top 5 and Top 10 lists. We are looking forward to getting the Saygus V2 and its exciting technology into the hands of consumers."

The V2 was created from the ground up to offer a feature set that would take the smartphone to a new level. With numerous exclusive features that are packed into a 1080p FHD 5" borderless screen, the V2 is unlike anything on the market today. Some of its advanced features include a mind-blowing Wireless HD gaming and movie BEAMING technology, state of the art 3D sound and a whopping 320GB storage capacity to enable power multimedia use.

Saygus will debut the first ever international public demonstration of the V²'s exclusive Wireless HD gaming and movie beaming technology at Mobile World Congress this week in Barcelona, Spain.

The V2 delivers high-demand functionality not provided by other smartphones such as a 21 megapixel camera on the back and a 13 mega pixel camera on the front -- with optical image stabilization. It also comes with a hardened Kevlar protective edge, waterproofed IPX7 "swimmable" capability, sunlight viewable screen, 3100 mAh battery with 50% battery savings chip (approx. 4600 mAh), and a compact biometric fingerprint canner on the side of the case to reserve screen real estate for movies, games and more. With access to CDMA and GSM wireless technologies, the V2 is a world phone designed to be used and enjoyed by people around the globe.

Just came across this. Might be of interest to some people. It's the first time I've seen a picture showing the dual sd on the phone.

They showed off the dual microsd slots during ces
The following is reply from Saygus.

The V² features only one SIM slot. Although we received many requests to add a second SIM slot to the V², the development of the device is too far advanced and we can no longer make any major design modifications. We are considering to include a second SIM slot on future designs.
Notice of any future updates will be made public on our website.

dual micro SD slots =/= Dual sim slots.

edit: technically it can hold 1tb in each slot. 200gb is just the current biggest card.
