It's a really nice phone. The camera is a rock star and the s-pen stylus is the best in the biz. Throw in a removable battery and access to a billion accessories and I think the note 4 is a great choice.

been doing a bit of looking around for any saygus info and found these two names listed on a press release about some award that was given to saygus apparently for being best in utah. utah must be hard up for contestants. i sent a note to tim rush asking if he had any info to share. do not know if springboard5 is the new or old pr firm.

Saygus has been using springboard5 at least since the announcement of the v2 last November.

Also, the best of utah is run by a private company. It is not affiliated with the state of utah. Companies nominate themselves for the award. The companies are judged based on the data supplied from the companies themself.

i would wager a guess that springboard5 is the old pr company. thanks for that info.

I was asking support how they use the wireless HD feature, because it always seems to be turned on and it never shows how they go about turning it on. I wanted to know if it's easy to use like airplay, or if it's a pain to turn on and off. At first they didn't understand the question but it turns out that it's an 'always on' feature. You just switch to whatever input the receiver is on and it's streaming. so....there's that :highfive:

Seems like a huge waste of battery to have that going all the time.

I doubt I'll ever use it after the novelty of trying it once or twice wears off.

I remember hearing that the streaming doesn't use much battery life at all. Perhaps between that and the battery saving stuff it'll sort itself out. I doubt privacy would be a concern as long as the receiver doesn't connect to the internet.

LOL. Who did you ask about this? Our best friend Samuel?
I can't imagine that the WiHD will be an 'always-on' feature. It's just a total waste of energy and absolutely unnecessary to have it always switched on in your pocket.
At least on the devices I've seen at CeBIT in March, there has been an extra app for the WiHD features, where you could switch it on and off and had some more settings. If I remember it correctly, I've also seen this app before in one of the video reviews on YouTube, but I can't remember, which one it was.

to me WiHD is cool but it seems that Saygus is more proud of their (new to market) WiHD than the V2. I have a Chromecast and I'm happy with that and have no use for WiHD, I have use for a phone tho.

Has some really nice specs. Love how it's going to be a 4.7 inch amoled, 16mp front and back camera, 4gb ram, Snapdragon 810, waterproof/buoyant, 4000mAh battery. Not sure if it's going to be another Saygus Vaporfone though. Will be on Kickstarter soon.

Looks like a pretty cool phone. At least the company personnel put their names, with photos, right on their website. To me that shows some responsibility and sends a message of competence. I'll keep my eyes on it.

Guys its a request to let the posts keep related to Saygus only here.....there are other forums for another mobiles......one ha sbeen created as a Saygus alternative too.....so lets keep this forum for Saygus for the sake of whoever is optimistic and sticking aroun d with their preorders......as one news from Saygus and you all will be bouncing up and down like rubber balls again.
