I sent them an email last night requesting they provide their pre-order customers with some form of a social media update. They've been quiet for 3 weeks now....crickets.So.... has anyone heard anything from Saygus within the last week or two?
I don't note any particular degradation with xmission, and the bumper case does not seem to materially impair or lengthen the time required to charge the phone on the conductance charging pad I have on the desk. Charging time seems to be pretty much the same whether or not the bumper is on the phone or off. I wouldn't be overly concerned about it on the V2.I wonder if those cases will affect functionality of the antenna and fingerprint scanner?

I prefer that Saygus staff work on the phone rather than on twitterSaygus uodate and communication is totally DOWN.. And that pissis me off. Totally noobish...
I suggest they work with the phone and give updates to their customers. Even a single staff at least can post an update about the development of the phone.I prefer that Saygus staff work on the phone rather than on twitter![]()
You sir are an idiot, It takes one single person to update twitter and 5 minutes if that.I prefer that Saygus staff work on the phone rather than on twitter![]()
Yeah, but Devil's Advocate would suggest that we have no proof that they *are* working on the phone... The demo unit at cebit showed pretty much the same functionality as the unit at mwc, afaik no-one has seen demos of 2 sd cards working, dual boot, wireless charging, finger scanner, camera, need I say more? If they really were making progress on the phone, I'm sure they would let us know.I prefer that Saygus staff work on the phone rather than on twitter![]()
I see your point and can follow your argumentation, since for the general public it seems like there has been absolutely no movement at Saygus the last few weeks.Yeah, but Devil's Advocate would suggest that we have no proof that they *are* working on the phone... Andreas, you are a legendI see your point and can follow your argumentation, since for the general public it seems like there has been absolutely no movement at Saygus the last few weeks.
I've spoken to them yesterday and they told me, that they are still working on the cummunication problems. Hopefully, we will get some official information about the actual state and progress in the next days.
Since all of us here are very interested in the actual state of the device, here are some news:
- The camera issues front/back are fixed
- The antenna problem is also fixed
- Right now May 22nd seems absolutely realistic to me
BTW: I'll keep trying to get some camera samples.
Especially funny as the cable is USB 3 and we have already been told the phone is micro usb (USB 2)And we have 6 pages of Ebays accessories tagged for Saygus.
Some of them funny too. Like power banks with capacity lower than the actual battery, or cables like these:

You gotta give it to the Chinese, they are really ahead of our time.

Sure I can understand you doubts, but unfortunately I can't provide you a precise answer, since this behaviour isn't even completely understandable for me.Hi Andreas, thanks for the update!
I have one question, not that I'm doubting you or anything, but it's really started to nag at me, so maybe you could help clear this up.
Here it is: why are they talking to you and not anyone else? What did you do differently that made them talk to you that none of the rest of us did? I don't have anything against you and I very much appreciate your keeping us informed, but I don't understand why Saygus does things this way rather than sending an update email or a quick tweet to make sure everyone gets this information? It just doesn't make sense to me.
