Seven more weeks people. Got to be honest with you. IF for some god awful reason they can't deliver this phone- there will be plenty of options on May 22nd to get another phone. To be honest though; if they can't deliver, they'll tell us way before May 22nd that they can't and thus give refund or give us new ship date with another accessory. My phone has developed a crack along the middle of it, and well I'm still going to endure until May 22nd.

I hope this phone turns out well, but I couldn't wait much longer so I got a Z3 compact on order as I feel it's the best deal for a new phone under $400. I just wonder though is this phone made in the US or is only the business that designed the phone in the USA? (Is it made in the USA?)

Do you think something big is happening? Could be good or bad. IF they are thinking about moving the ship date either way, it would make sense to wait until you absolutely know for sure. If they have been using fully functional models, which has been stated, it's realistic to think they could bump the ship date up a week or 2.

Andreas, the spy has news:
1. The camera issues front/back are fixed
2. The antenna problem is also fixed
and those are pretty big in my book. Because we are not talking iPhone Evilglobecorp.com but some startfromscratch anonymous wannadoitright company. They need to do it for all the Jobs's bitches as well. With replaceable battery and SD slot in one high spec phone. Versatility, modularity, choice. Android is all about that.
There are things happening, I am taking Andreas's word for it.
And now that you mentioned it: there were component and production issues mentioned before. Antenna specifically. And camera lens shipping. I wander what is current status? Antenna- solved, camera- solved, what is left?
In my Fake Saygus Update post I said they fixed the fingerprint scanner, so we're all good there. Next up: fine tuning auto brightness values when going from light environment to dark. Update soon.
I'm really liking the zenfone 2 stuff I'm reading so I think that's my backup device for now
Jabba, if you could also give us all a fake update on the 'Built-in Power Saving Chip – 50% Improved Battery Life' that would be pretty sweet, that was a big feature for me

I just can't risk 549 fine American Dollars on optimism alone. I'm happy for you that your financial situation allows you to take calculated risks like this.
Please trust me, I want the Saygus V2 to be available on May 22nd, it is the only phone that has the specs that really do it for me. Once this phone is released I will almost certainly do my utmost to purchase it, and if by some degree of karma I'm not able to do so, and curse my cynical mind for ever being a doubter and cancelling my order then I will only have myself to blame.

As far as I understand 22/5 is shipping date not delivery date, so we'll have to wait a while longer.
Ship date means its ready to go no ifs ands or buts. Its Ready for USPS/UPS/Feddex to pick up to be delivered to us.
Man, Saygus finally responded to my ticket.... They asked me to fill out some information and to respond in said ticket.... but they closed said ticket.

Fake Saygus Update: Auto brightness values have been optimized so you can read in bed without blinding yourself, or your partner, but still read the news in full sun. Next up, power saving chip results. 50%? On a bad day.
Hey JambaMac could you give us some fake info regarding the WiHD and if Saygus are secretly planning on bundling a pocket sized transceiver in with the Saygus V². I love the idea of being able to use any screen available.

Not quite sure why you quoted me and repeated what I said? I.e. shipping date is the date it ships not the delivery date, but thanks for agreeing with me
