New facts I gathered from 3 sources:

1. Fingerprint scanner works with "high accuracy". It has been demoed at CES 2015 but nobody recorded it. And they didn't bother to inform anyone it works.
2. They are considering accessory swap for those who would prefer something else over headphones (3 sources)
3. Verizon still didn't approve
4. Service Team that will work nonstop is about to be hired

For #2: I received an email stating:
"For now the only item that we are offering for the delay is the headset, unfortunately we do not have another option to offer."
So could you please reveal your "sources"?

For me, i will not et new one in these two months before V2 is released.

So reality is there won't be a better phone than Saygus within the next five weeks. ESPECIALLY within the price range of the pre-register.

I am also not in the USA but I AM bothered: if they don't get big carriers into their boat the whole thing may not float.

I went to see what the fuss is about, and two things come to mind. One, that phone is huge, and two, that phone is ugly. If other's like it, that's fine, but there's no way I'd get one.

Huge, I wouldn't agree but it is in the larger realm (which some people prefer) and ugly, just a matter of personal preference.

Still haven't found the source of verizon not approving it, from what I've seen it's still going through the approval processs.

I remember seeing a tweet about this last night, but I can't find it anymore, so they must have deleted it. That probably means that their twitter person wasn't supposed to say that yet as it may not happen. So I'd put #2 down as a "maybe".

It would be good for everyone to get those perks as this is still in a pre-order stage. As for switching the free earplugs for other devices would be nice but I don't think it would be smart for a company that has had delays (money loss) to give out more free stuff. All I want is information from Saygus on the process of the phone and I'll gladly pay for the extras at the release date.
