Version Confused!!!

Guys which is the latest version of our phone(US991)?
LG official website says that it is on us991 23a, but in this website "lg-firmwares[dot]com/lg-us991-firmwares" I found us991 24a kdz file

I flashed my LGUS991 with US99124a_00_0119.kdz using LDUP.

It was running US99121a before.

It worked but now has a US Cellular boot animation instead of the LG one.

Any advice on how to get the LG boot animation back instead of the ugly US Cellular one?

I found the stock animations here but I think it will require root to replace.

I can live with the ugly US Cellular logo.

Is it safe to downgrade? And is it as simple as just flashing an older kdz with the LDUP tool?

i have a lg g4 us991 25a, got it brand new last week. phone has a u.s. cellular branding and was unlocked after updating it (just confirmed by u.s. cellular support).

im using it in germany. the problem is: i dont get any mobile data sign (like edge,h+,3g) at all on my screen, there are just those bars from the radio. i have set up the apn several times, did store the sent settings that i got via sms. Restarted the phone, tried different networks, tried different providers (o2 / telekom).
In network settings it shows me my provider and in mobilenetwork type it says "hsdpa". Mobilenetwork status says "not connected". Servicestatus is operating.

Looks like im out of options for me. I have no clue what this could be, or why. Never had such a problem and google does not know a lot about this, too (or im just too nuts for a suitable search). Let me know if someone has had a similar issue or just some hints what I could do next with it to make it work. Or, for example, to be able to exclude what it could not be.

Thanks for your response. I went to various companies and tried to set their APN they also tried but didn't work.
Could it be that it is lock for outside of the US?

Does the phone need to be unlocked to use on T-Mobile USA?

Does the US Cellular US991 works on T-Mobile with VoLTE?

Also, a more difficult question. Does this phone work with legacy data plans like T-Zones / MobileWeb / Web2Go?

I've got a US Cellular us991 and I updated it to the 25a marshmallow version with no issues other than wishing I'd stayed on LL just due to root being available on LL

I tried just loading an earlier kdz and it just errored out...I haven't tried anything more on delete for fear of bricking
