Cheapest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phones

I'm looking at the Nubia Z50 5G smartphones and some others that are cheaper that have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm considering a new phone, good camera is a key argument, to take good Fotos of friends, family, young and old plus honeymoon vacation.
I like the android experience, so custom roms are also an argument.

Using a redmi note 10 pro at the moment, wasn't that happy with gcam on crdroid, but also unhappy with data grabbing stock Rom.

Considering to order a pixel 7pro, for camera and grapheneos os for privacy.

Any recommendations, experiences, opinions, additions?
Pixel 7pro is also the upper financial limit, kinda.

OnePlus 8 Pro
Hi!
I'm not new to XDA and I like flashing custom ROMs to increase the lifespan of my phone, remove bloatwares and get a root access.
I'm stuck on Android 11 with my OnePlus 3T for a while (since there's no 4.x kernel). I didn't follow the news for the new devices and Android features so I'd like to have your up-to-date recommendations :)
I also owned a Google Nexus 5 and a Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. The latter has been horrible in terms of performance/ram management as soon as I flashed an Android 12 custom ROM...

Due to my limited financial ressources I think I'll buy a second-hand device.
Today, what are the best Android devices/manufacturers for modding/custom ROMs? OnePlus? Nothing phone?
Thank you in advance for your advices and feedbacks.

If you wanna buy Nubia Z50 i have one to sell 😄 it is awesome phone, unfortunately i cannot use it as daily phone since i have some apps for work, which i do not want to delete if a global rom comes out. Otherwise, it is a great phone for money, great camera, very fast, beautiful screen, battery is awesome, sits nicely in the hand. With leather back you dont even need a case, only camera protection.

Best low budget smartphone for installing custom roms

Hello,
at the moment I'm using OnePlus 6T with A13 Pixel Experience Plus, I'm very satisfied but the smartphone is very old and camera is not so good...

I would like to buy a new smartphone but my budget is very low and my doubts are:
- it worths to change smartphone with a low budget for example Poco X5 (is about 250€... max price I can pay now)? cameras are better in a smartphone like this compared with the OP6T?
- what is the "best" smartphone to buy if I want to install PE on it?

If Budget is not a constraint, I would whole-heartedly suggest getting any latest Pixel device. I'm a user of Pixel 7 Pro and I'm really happy with the phone. Looking to get my hands on the Pixel 8 as soon as it releases!

Hi everyone, this would be my first post so sorry for any inconvenience.

I'm thinking of upgrading my tablet but I've always liked small tablets under 10' unfortunately, as we all know they are hardware-adjusted, after searching and reading some reviews out there I've settled on these three that fit my needs. needs, basic tasks, reading reports and basic tasks; I don't play games, I don't multitask demanding I don't edit videos....

Nokia t10 vs lenovo m9; They are similar in everything, they have their advantages, for example, the update of 2 OS by Nokia makes it more attractive to me, but I see its model as very wide and its processor lower performance (t606). I also don't know if the option of the Google's entertainment center usually freezes or the dual screen option is the same (hopefully it's already fixed). On the other hand, the new lenovo M9 also has the update of an OS that also comes in handy, it has a more powerful processor than nokia but it has a smaller graphics engine, in terms of software it is seen that it is going very well and in the reviews that I have read it has not presented problems beyond hardware limitations.

Amazon fiere 8 HD plus: I don't know much about this tablet and I don't know how it is XD

Before you buy an used phone, check it with this app:

See how many charging cycles it has.
500+ and you know the battery is on way down.
Any hint how I can obtain physical access to a device that I don't own yet in order to install this certainly great app for the suggested check?

    G53 is a low end phone - G42 is a better choice.
    Amoled, FHD, better SoC etc

Xperia 10 III is as good as G42, with more RAM, but an older phone and cost more:

Thanks. Won't work on my phone as it's for Android 14, but am looking for another app to check number of cycles.

Its a bit older phone, but still nice.
Bit smaller screen size, smaller battery, less RAM, but a better camera, OTG support, and should get Android 14 too.

If the price is right, lower than G84, and you like the phone, go for it.

If the price is the same, and the camera is not in your focus, then get the G84 because it has an amasing battery life, microSD expansion is very nice too.

Modern day lower midrangers offer the luxury of 6gb ram, faster processors and are an exciting segment to look.

Here are few truly valuable midrangers, suiting our preferences: (premium camera, 4k video rec & microsd support)
    • Realme 12 plus - mar 24 _ 50p,8w,2m

Realme, well known for its camera 1st approach and has recently released a bombshell right there.
    • Samsung F54 5g - July 23_ 64p,2w,8m

A popular midranger over the past few months that ticks all boxes and even chosen as best midranger by many websites.
    • Oppo F25 Pro - Feb 24 _32p,2w,8m

Very high bang for the buck right here and Camera has been a big flex of this phone.
    • Oppo Reno 11 -jan 24 _50p,8w,32t

This phone is highly rated for its slowmo video especially and comes with a flagship telephoto lens as well. All this comes at a higher price making it a higher mid Ranger.

The moto G54 and G84 are the other big guns in the category but don't support 4k video and dont have macro lens.

    (P - primary lens, W- wide angle, M - Macro, T - telephoto)
Thank you so much for the elaborate response, after 5 days of intense research, I wasn't happy enough with the offers at the 300-400 range, not enough to call the shot, so I ended up lowering the budget to avoid disappointment, and got a poco x6 for 277 euros, is alright, I feel like if I had forked out more for a redmi note 12 pro plus or note 13 pro plus, I would feel disappointed...

Not sure yet, but seeing as my HTC has had its life dramatically extended by HTC unlocking bootloader for thier devices and so making it much easier to root and mod I am finding it difficult to find a complelling reason to move from HTC

Probably the Galaxy S3. Hopefully we'll see an updated Note later in the year.
