I may sound stupid for asking for this because I haven't had CM9 on my phone lately, but...

please, backups on Trebuchet!!!

In case it's already implemented ignore me (for now I prefer Samsung based ROMs on my S3), and in case it has been talked somewhere, let me know

is there a "clear all" tasks button and ram manager in cm9 juz like the touchwiz? if there isnt will it be in cm10?
Android don't need a Task Manager, and even less a Clear RAM button (unless you want a slow system and want to use more battery). I lost all faith in Samsung the day I saw they brought back their crappy freaking button.
Android is Linux, it's not windows. Learn how linux manage memory.

And here my suggestions:

Trebuchet:
- the same background we see in the settings menu in the launcher , (color gradiation) I think that all black is kinda ugly.
- group icons, not like in the homescreen (folders) but the ability of having a "group/section" of icons that they alwas go together (this being an extension of my second quote) like, "benchmarks" or "social apps" and having the option of re-arrenging the whole group within the launcher list.
- the posibility of NOT having the app's paged but listed in a scrolleable way (way faster to find my apps, at least, for me), and swipe left/right to change between app's and widgets.

Lockscreen:
- more icons for shortcuts of common app's by default, in CM9 I see twitter and fb, but not whatsapp, i don't know the rest of the users, but for every time I use fb or twitter i've used whatsapp +100 times.
- if face unlcok activated, the option of entering the pattern/pass without waiting the OS to tell us that it doesn't recognise us.

Theme manager:
-I'd rlly love to see some HOLO.LIGHT theme modded (white/orange) as well as some other "basic" choices, dunno, HOLO green, HOLO red or stuff like that.

UI options:
- not sure if possible but, the ability to change the "on/off" switches to a rectangular style, i rlly hate those pointless diagonal shaped things.

Apollo:
- darker theme, also for the widget.
- the option of NOT listing files under X size (example: whatsapp audios)

Pretty much that, i'll be rlly glad if you think some of my suggestions are good enough and you consider to work in them.

Thanks for the hard work, i can't wait to see CM10 running in all of our devices!

PD: sorry for provably rlly bad english, plus the tons of spells i had.

i'd like to see an option to use the Quiet Hours only on weekdays... would be useful to have it enabled during the week and have it disabled during the weekend
+1 but for selected days, not just, week/weekends, more like the alarm clock.

Trebuchet: in the app drawer, the ability to rearrange icons to your own liking.

+1, again, i rlly like to see the settings the first one on the list.

sorted by name (by default), but if one moved, keep that one in the exact position it was placed. Example, if move Settings to the first position, even if i install after that some "abc" named app, the settings app will still be in the first positoin.

All i want is a camera app with full manual mode, so i can control shutter speed aperture iso.

As for the shutter speed id like to see a 5 second shutter for long exposures. Ive always wanted this on my phone.

Best way to break your sensor/lens. It's a phone!

I don't know whether the CM team would consider such things but still no harm in asking whether it would be done or not as its quite a nifty feature, so requesting for customizable status bar functionality like rob43 reloaded ics mod over here.

I would like to see the ability to change the the default background (holo) to something else on the fly and independent of the theme you are on.

Even including a selection of suitable dark backgrounds.
