just wait for siyah cm10 compatible kernel if you want to use exteaks so badly.. the whole app is developed only for the siyah kernel, not for anything else.. its less than 2 days since the first preview popped up, patience man! and you can install supersu from market :p

wtf... are u serious? i mean... u actually know that you can change the background whenever u want right? just go to your home screen and keep ur finger on it, then just pick the option u like... o_o
lol, so you figured after 619 posts and 87 thanks that I still hadn't worked out how to change the launcher background?

I mean the same background that appears when you are in the settings screen.... or when in Titanium backup..

Yes it's possible to go in and manually change the files, but a quick way of changing on the fly would be cool :)

(IMHO) Cyanogenmod was known for adding value to AOSP, while now it strives to be on as many devices as possible. The biggest value addition to my eyes (comes to the top of my head) was the notification toggles which replaced me using the widget toggles (I think it was inspired by Sense UI afterall). Oh another tangible one is themes ("inspired" by T-mobile). Most other cyanogenmod "value adds" (IMO) have been numerous micro-micro settings buried in deep menus to micro manage micro customizations. It's all good, but I'm just saying : )

Okay so this is a wishlist thread so here goes....I have a request for a feature or should I say "value add" called Gestures setting - Under this, there's options like

  • "Speakerphone on while incall & laying phone flat up"
  • "Silent/vibrate while flat down"
  • "Shake to skip track" (like long press volume to skip track)
  • "Shake to dismiss alarm" (Just thought that up)
  • "Swipe screen for screenshot (*cough* Touchwiz)
It's easier than using many small apps to do all these. Like the redundant toggle widget.

LiquidSmooth JB alpha just dropped, almost all the features and customization work! Very good for an alpha build.

May sound like an odd request but full emoji support with the global emoji faces not the android ones. Across the platform not just in the SMS application.

Stable and fast like stock
Better battery life
