I didn't send mine to get fix.How long did they take to repair?
This needs to get to Sony MobileI think this is a serious issue with the Z. A friend of me checked his Z for this issue after I told him about it (he didn't know there was this issue) and it turned out his glass on the back was also lifted, just left of the camera. At this moment the glass is even flush with the rubber. When I checked mine I did see something similar, but on mine it is less worse. We both have a black C6603 13W07 AAC, shatter films removed.

I don't have stock options from Sony but I understand that when you are running on the edge, sometimes things fail in a unpredictable way. The market pressure for novelty does not give time for developing a new solution and test it in real use for an extended period, unless you play safe and stick for something already proven (or improved) in a previous model. The Xperia Z is the first smartphone to really put Sony in this market arena, but not yet on the first place from the profits perspective.Anyway this is not what I've expected of Sony.
5 working days from send in to set up the device againHow long did it take to be repaired?
That worked? XD sounds like an easy fix hmmm tempted to try it.I have this issue too, the glue melts when the phone is heating which will eventually gets harder after cooled up. This combo will lift the glass bit by bit. There is an easy solution for this like I did on my. I heated up with a hairdryer or just open up a game with the charger on it, this will get the glue melt again and then push the glass back on it and let it cool down for a minute.
It will stay for a long time back on now.
