Did any of you remove the back anti shatter film, just to understand if that is a positive or negative factor?

I´ve exact the same Problem with lift of the glass back. Stock ROM, no overclocking or hard gaming!

Send it to the german repair Center w-Support, got it back with a new glass back. Now everything is fine for the Moment...

I have the same, C6603 Black. Considering to go to a repair center because I also have dead pixels on the camera sensor. (few black pixels on each photo on the same spot.

The only worry is, I have unlocked the bootloader, I hope they will still repair it as this is not a problem of flashing a custom rom, but a manufacturing issue.

I think this is a serious issue with the Z. A friend of me checked his Z for this issue after I told him about it (he didn't know there was this issue) and it turned out his glass on the back was also lifted, just left of the camera. At this moment the glass is even flush with the rubber. When I checked mine I did see something similar, but on mine it is less worse. We both have a black C6603 13W07 AAC, shatter films removed.

This needs to get to Sony Mobile

I have this issue too. Is not that obvious but is a little lifted, if I press on it very hard it stays that way for a few minutes. Like I said I have to look very carefully to see it. Anyway this is not what I've expected of Sony. I still have the AFS + screen protector on front and back. C6603 Black version.

I don't have stock options from Sony but I understand that when you are running on the edge, sometimes things fail in a unpredictable way. The market pressure for novelty does not give time for developing a new solution and test it in real use for an extended period, unless you play safe and stick for something already proven (or improved) in a previous model. The Xperia Z is the first smartphone to really put Sony in this market arena, but not yet on the first place from the profits perspective.

An amazing piece of hardware that had to be launched when it was. What is important now to check is how they react to problems, warranties cover, and so on.

Just my 5 cents...

I have this issue too, the glue melts when the phone is heating which will eventually gets harder after cooled up. This combo will lift the glass bit by bit. There is an easy solution for this like I did on my. I heated up with a hairdryer or just open up a game with the charger on it, this will get the glue melt again and then push the glass back on it and let it cool down for a minute.

It will stay for a long time back on now.
