DivX registration?

Hi all. I noticed the DivX part in the settings, there was a code that you should register somewhere but I dont understand where and how ? When I follow the link from the pop-up menu, I get some instructions but im still not getting it.

Can someone please explain to me where to insert this code, and what use it has?

Download the player
Create a divx file with the serial
Upload and play the file on your device
