I followed the highlighted instructions in red and all works. The reason I am playing with settings is to try and stop all the roaming the phone does.

I'm guessing you figured it out by now, but it is normal. Installing any fresh new rom will typically take ~20 minutes to get past the initial screen on first boot.

No drop or search on my end, you probably missed a step ( especially during setup, where you need to uncheck send data usage )

yes load will take up to 20 minutes


If I get time I will do a small flash video seems some people are still having issues

Gotta make sure you choose English on the aroma screen.

I loaded everything up right my phone sat there for like 20 25 minutes on a red screen just saying Verizon. I thought something went wrong. So I went back into recovery and went back to stock ROM. When I should have just let it sit there longer

I don't know about other phones, but mine normally sits on the SamSung logo..

But try a clean flash/install.. But you will need to wait 20ish minutes sometimes longer.

I installed everything per ditections everything works except sms doesn't seem to work properly i received texts last night and it seem like I was sending texts but my texts aren't going through any help would be great

Yes make sure you choose the sprint model and when you get to the next screen it will say country sales code find SPR and select that

Thanks for putting this thread together. I followed the easy guide but chose vzw model and everything seems to be OK. I'm pretty sure that gps bluetooth phone txt and 4g are working. Why do you recommend using the sprint model?

EDIT: sms didn't appear to be working with the vzw version I selected during install. Guess that's why we're supposed to install the sprint version lol. Reinstalled per op (sprint) and I think everything is working now.

And this runs on Verizon's CDMA network with data/sms/mms?

I'm coming from the Alliance Rom from November 2014 running 4.4.2 and am afraid to mess that up and not be able to go back.

Assuming I want to install this, do I need to first unlock the bootloader then install this?

Also, can I install it via Safestrap AND install it to a rom slot?
