Can someone post a link to the exact version of twrp used for the rom? I've been using 2.7.8.0 4.4 and haven't gotten any success so far...
I used 3.0.2 version of twrp and have no issues, the guy from post 1 in this thread also used the 3.0.2 loaded and running for 2 weeks with only minor bugs. I believe you have to be on 5.0 at least. Hope this helps you some, do some more reading and ask questions. Watch the video on page 1 of this thread or through another site. Good Luck. As long as you make a backup in twrp you'll be OK.

Well I got it to work. Having the default apn-config.xml actually works... who knew... You get the Verizon Internet APN by default too, so you just add mms to the apn type and put in: Username: ##########@vzwpix.com and MMSC: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms?X-VZW-MDN=########## Let me know if someone wants the stock apn-config.xml.
supercellstudios, can you send me the stock apn-config.xml and instructions of how you installed it? THANKS

Heres the default apn config:
drive.google.com/file/d/0B6Ca3uR_dXI1aktpekVLdG52Tkk/view

Follow the manual fix on page one:

Then edit the Verizon Internet APN in settings with these:
Username: ##########@vzwpix.com
MMSC: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms?X-VZW-MDN=##########
APN Type: default,supl,mms,dun

Then updated all the stock app apk's. (Google cLock's alarm wasn't working with AOD before.)
That's all I did.

Anyone wise having issues with the always on display?
Screen off memo?

My Always on display flashes on and off.
My screen off memo doesn't always respond when removing the s pen.

Great ROM and simple instructions. My note 3 feels brand new.

Any fixes for minor bugs?

I love this rom because IT WORKS!! lol And after trying a few others with no luck, I think I'll stick with this one, but I have a few bugs that I'm wondering if there is a way to address:

1. Bluetooth headphones connect, but phone sounds (ringer, volume buttons) still play on loud speaker (AND in the phone). Media plays only on headphones though. I chose the Viper sound option; should I not have?

2. Camera force closes a lot (and I've seen other Darklord roms with the working Pro mode files to flash... can we flash that separate camera file onto this?)

3. Some lag when pressing the home button and when opening some apps.

4. Can we create app folders in this rom? I first tried his original version of this rom, and it allowed for that... but I wasn't able to get connections working. Now this rom works fine, but no app folders and no camera pro mode. :(

If you mean me, I have the Verizon Note 3 SM-N900V, OF1, rooted, bootloader unlocked, no backups because I'm an idiot (never rooted a phone before this, so I thought the stock rom that was saved on my computer was enough at first). I am running the rom from this post now and the vzw version of the Darklord 1.9 kernel.

My "Always On Display" flashes as well. Doesn't really bother me much. But my screen memo seems to work fine.

However, the "Roaming indicator off" thing is bothering me. Does everyone have this problem also? I have a feeling it has something to do with me getting my texts many hours after they are sent (sometimes, but other times, they come right through). I also lose service SOMETIMES after phone calls. Other times, I don't.

If I go into settings and look at "Data Usage" and click "Service Provider Settings," the only service providers I can choose from are Chinese ones (although none are checked). Is this related to why it says "Roaming indicator off?" And should I be worried that I might roam, unknowingly, since the indicator is off?

I wish I could find a rom that is reliable for the Verizon Note 3. I do not have a backup of the factory settings, so I'm screwed because the working Jasmine Rom I did use didn't come with a kernel (that I know of) and doesn't seem to work with Darklord Kernels (I assume because Jasmine was for 5.0). Plus, I really wanted to be on MM anyway.

Also, I am not a developer, so can anyone answer... if I try to flash the Note 7 camera zip to THIS rom, will there be a chance it might work?? And if it doesn't, is there a way to remove it, or would I just need to restore my backup?

It's a hardware issue using the N7 camera. Some features will not work. The Jasmine post does have a Kernel for DEVELOPER (following retail install instruction in OP).
You're not screwed :) I have ODINed back to stock OF1 a few times; re-rooted, and unlocked the bootloader. :fingers-crossed:

Ok, Guys! This is my last effort at keeping this Rom. It is pretty hard sifting through everyone's posts before mine, but I didn't see any real solution to the fact that the "roaming indicator off" is always showing, my texts are coming through hours after they are sent to me (sometimes), I have caught my phone roaming once (while I was at home), AND I drop signal completely after calls most times. I've missed important texts over these past few day, and this is literally the first time I have ever tried anything custom on a phone, so I think I'm in over my head. Before a week ago, I had no idea what rooting even was, and now I am rooted, bootloader unlocked, various roms attempted, but no luck with a good one. If someone can tell me how to fix this stuff, I would love to keep the rom. Otherwise, well... I tried to go back to Jasmine Rom 6.1 (running 5.0), but it sits on the spinning colorful loading screen forever (even though it said that the flash was successful), so no luck going back to that for some reason. I am going to have to Odin the locked stock back on at this point (if I can Google University that to find out how, lol, but I do have the file) because nothing else is reliable. :(

Edit: I did find a Kernel that let me return to Jasmine Rom. So I'm back on that now. It's better than returning to stock and losing the root and unlocked bootloader. :D

Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped.
Am I the only one that gets this message, if a caller hangs up before I do?
Sometimes. but it doesn't really seem to hurt anything, hit ok and keep going. I've tried the usual fixes for this, deleting cache, etc, but nothing seems to fix it.

Ya I agree that if someone would do the adjustments and get everything running rite then give us a link would be awesome thanks....
Mine is working very well, but it's been months since I did it so I can't recall all I did to get everything working. If you want me to check something on my device I'll try and do so. I get great battery life (IMHO) and most times it runs great. There are times when it gets bogged down and closing all running apps and/or rebooting seems to work.

Thank you Budd. Ya if I could ask you for a backup of your twrp or what your running for recovery then I could just flash that then I think I would be good to go sort of speak. I get everything working but my texting is bornky. It says it didn't send but I get a text back weird lol thanks again.....

Hello, been having this ongoing problem for awhile..after a phone call, if the other person hangs up before I do... I get a force close with the "dialer" Apr..I hit OK, and lose service, I have to cycle airplane mode, then I get service..anyway suggestions? In the meantime, I'll try different dialer app and see if it does the same thing..

Edit:

Nope using a different dialer app same thing... basically I guess I have to end the call before the other person does, then it's no issues.

My note 3 is Verizon phone, during installation I selected sprint, running the sprint kernel version 1.9 and all seems well..even happened before using the vzw kernel..

I changed a few things on the build.prop too just for the heck of it, and added a some lines. Still same issue.

I changed the csc code from spr to vzw using galaxy tools app. I just received a call just now, I made sure to to hit the end button before the other line did, no force close. I guess I'll just put up with it for now.

I've been mentioning this issue for almost a month on both different s7 port roms..definitely a known issue until we get a fix. Best bet is to try and disconnect before the other caller like u know about.
