I use ArkMC

Hello, fellows.
I use ArkMC on my Galaxy Tab. The interface is quite simple and it is not free, but the functionality is quite great. The thing that I like the most is 3rd party players integration, I use RockPlayer, because it really bothers me when AllShare can not play half of my files. Besides it also works as DLNA server.

I just setup my PogoPlug Pro with ArchLinux ARM and attached my 2TB HDD with all my music, photos, porn, data, etc to it.

Installed MiniDLNA, set it up and on my phone (my N7 gets to my hands tomorrow) I use UpnPlay app from the market. It works. Also I'm about to setup samba file server for documents and kind of my own dropbox and openvpn for when im not at home still access all this.

Edit: Wrong thread but since it is related I'm leaving it here.

Ok, I use TVersity/PS3 Media Server to share my media to my TV/PS3/360 for viewing on the TV, and now i'm using PlayON to eventually replace it.

I was wondering if there is an app that anyone knows of for Android that will play DLNA shared content (over 3G/Wifi)

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated

now i just have to find a set of TV cables for my Incredible

Well I'm using this app called ArkMC DLNA UPnP Media Center.I'm using this because with this thing I could easily access, stream, share, manage and enjoy multimedia content, such as pictures, music and videos throughout my home network.I recommend this app for you to try out.Get it from here

I use Skifta on my HTC Droid Incredible to view media stored in my Netgear ReadyNAS. Very simple and clean interface, works great and it's free.

I am fully satisfied with ArkMc. I tried Lite version first but decided to buy it within two days of usage! It works very smooth though it doesn't work over VPN. however, as far as I know they promised to fixed it soon. Looking forward to it)

Try ArkMC. it allows streaming media content files on various devices + is supported with PC, NAS, AllShare TV, Windows Media Player and desktop iTunes, other UPnP/DLNA servers.

Look up upnplay on the market. I've been using it for a couple months now and it works perfectly for me.

Skifta is probably the best for DLNA client/server on Droid that is free (if you want you can setup their PC server for playing the media on your comp anywhere via 3G/WiFi even at a friends and if you want you can even remote access your home DLNA server from your friends house then use your Droid as a bridge to any DLNA client on that wifi network. It's pretty cool.

If you're a TVersity fan/lover, just enable web access and use their flash or mobile relay interface to watch over 3G or Wifi (but you'll need a streaming player like MX Video or alike to watch remotely instead of downloading then watching).

I myself use Skifta only on my phone and combine TVersity on my PC with web portal activated and MX Video to watch everything.

(Twonky is good if you have an Internet TV but costs money and their help desk is ****).
