Do Not Disturb not showing on status bar

Hi, I have an unlocked Note 8 - Samsung SM-N950U1 on Android 7.1.1 not rooted. (ATT sim card, but not carrier firmware.)
Up until 3 days ago, when I downloaded a VR video player from the play store, my DND icon appeared on my status bar in the upper left corner. Now it does not appear when DND is on. I have uninstalled the VR video player and restarted the phone a bunch of times, but the icon will no longer appear when DND is on. Does anyone have any solution for this problem?

I reset my preferences and it solved the problem.

You can delete this thread if needed. I couldn't figure out how to delete it myself.

Try this before?

Settings => Sounds and Vibration

I figured it out, too. I reset ALL app permission preferences. That fixes it. My DND icon also disappeared when I downloaded a VR app.
