It's real and we can compile and flash it(It think didn't tried it).
But the bootloader won't boot that because you need to sign it with motorola's private key.

With the bootloader limitation, the only thing that you can do, is modify the modules to improve their behaviours (and add new ones) to fit with Motorola's signed kernel.

If I understand, it's like that.

EDIT: I wonder if the Defy+ as a different private key to sign its kernels?!

@Sylde Motorola, they are too lazy to change the specs of Defy+ , so i think they don't wanna change its private keys. They must spend time on the High Ends like Droid Bionic, Razr , not on Defy+.

Now that we have the defy kernel, and is it possible to build the kernel for cm9 with smartassV2 and interactive schedulers? Can it be easily patched with those schedulers and built?

Just read again the second post of this post ;) we can build and patch it, but you can't flash it on the defy because of the locked bootloader
