I use the Poetic CrystalClear and I honestly can't tell its there, sometimes I doubt it myself but I think it is there, maybe? (Perfect touch response, slightly less glares and perfect fit, also was _really_ easy to put on, got it right the first time and took me less than a minute, 0 bubbles left. No need to wait 24h and mess with the wet applied..)

I got a tf101 Zagg screen protector from best buy for 7 bucks. Its not an exact fit but it was better than paying 30.

No, because they can never be put on good enough for me, bubbles drive me INSANE, also I hate the friction they add.
Yeah, that's pretty much my rational, it's a pain in the backside with a phone - I'd just end up getting wound up with a screen this size.

Buy it online because it's not gorilla glass, applied it myself, you can't tell it's there.

Yes because i got syrup on my kindle fire and it scratched the hell out of it trying to wipe it off. Don't fell like risking that again with my pad. Took me 2 screen protectors but its perfectly on there not a air bubble in sight.

I don't have one on at the moment considering I'm usually using it with the keyboard dock.
But I am interested in how a screen protector reduces smudge marks on the screen. I can't seem to keep my screen clean for long at all. Maybe I've just got super dirty hands haha ;)

YES! ....why u might ask... The screen isnt scratch resistant and the dock scratches my TF so yeah ..., I bought mine from eBay lol but I used to use the protectors for galaxy tab 10.1 haha

And some advice: don't buy those glare-reducing protectors, it distorts colour.

Like the teenage girl said...

... I haven't gotten pregnant yet. Why use protection?

Reasons you don't need a screen protector for your TF300T:
1. I'm crazy rich. If it gets a scratch, I'll just replace it with a TF700-- so why is it then that you're here on this page?http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
2. The slightest increase in screen friction messes with my crazy gaming skillz.http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/mad.gif
3. I'm a total klutz. The "bubble" area will always be 2X the "protector" area http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/silly.gif no matter many help videos I watch.http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/redface.gif
4. I'm too cheap to use protection (Don't let your girlfriend/boyfriend read about this.)http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/fingers-crossed.gif

Reasons to use a screen protector (which I do):
1. I'm crazy poor. If I do something stupid, like scratch my screen, it will be there as an infuriating reminder for a long time.http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/mad.gif
2. You don't have to be running Hydo 4.1 project buttery smooth, to have a butterfingers moment of regret.http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/mad.gif
3. The ability to apply a large ("^2) screen screen protector w/o having it remind you constantly of Champagne, is just another the skills that a true Dude has mastered, on his/her way to Dudeship.http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/cool.gif
4. I'm too cheap not to use protection (You might want to keep that from the spousehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Like he/she doesn't already know that! http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

Two phones (I will name no names) that added together don't make one smart one.

I had a bad expeirance with one of those plastic screen protectors....thinking these things were great using them on my digital camera and what not I put one on my E-Reader, it must have been on there for 10-12 months so I figured to take it off and put a new one on....well holy cow It left a residue that was near impossible to remove. After using every chemical in the house I managed to get it off...never never never again will I use that rubbish on my tablet....Plus stll to this day I havent scratched my tablet without one.

Yep

Yes and I use the Shimono version. It was a little scary to use at first as it uses a liquid spray to apply it but once put on properly(took me two tries) it was perfect. No bubbles very damage resistant and looks perfect on the screen. No glare and works just like the screen on it. For me a screen protector is a must and I am pleased with this one. Every clumsy throw your keys and sharp metal object chucker need one.....

i use a cheap one off ebay and i dont even know ive got it on there

Same here. I bought a case, stylus, screen protector combo on Ebay a few days ago. Just got it today, applied the screen protector and I can hardly even tell it's on there. The anti-glare comes in handy too. I apply screen protectors to all of my devices. Who knows, I may want to sell it down the road and a scratch free screen will be a selling point.:D
