Does side loading void warranty?

I know this site isn't an Omate site, but does anyone know if side loading apps like Google Play void the warranty? Anyone have experience with that?

Also, if for any reason the watch goes haywire, is there a way to factory reset it?

Thanks!

No. But in reality there is no warranty anyway.

You can factory reset. Make sure you do a proper backup first to be sure (MTK Droid Tools I think is the software - it's been a while since I used it). You should do that anyway since Omate's manufacturing/design leaves a lot to be desired and there are multiple combinations of eMMC and other hardware bits floating around. They just hacked it up to work.

Oh geez, I think I'm probably in over my head at this point. No idea what some of those things you mentioned are. Gonna have to do a lot more research before I fiddle with it. Thanks for the info!

You can side load any app just do not brick your device. It is as simple as that. If you block your smartphone because of a 3rd party app, no manufacturer will grant you warranty for your device.

Which warranty?
There is no warranty by omate if you have opened the box.
If you bought from omate like me it is your own fault.
