Does the full screen icon exist on the Note 8 for Youtube??

It's youtube's new implementation of the button. To be fair it works much better in my case!

Yea it's pinch to zoom now. It's like your enlarging a picture or webpage. It's actually a lot better the the crop to fit button and it's seemless. Thanks note 8 and Samsung!

Fix:

1. Update YouTube to latest version
2. Power down your phone. Wait for 2 mins.
3. Switch on your phone.
4. Open YouTube.
5. Start any video. It will show you instructions about pinch to zoom

Instructions? Where? When? I had to figure it out for myself.

Solution working for me

I had the same issue. Tried uninstalling the updates but eventually the problem would reappear.
Finally, whatbworkwd for me is un-pinching (opposite of pinching). Now I can view all videos in full screen mode.

I just got my note 8 from mobile today. I've read every reply. I refused to do a factory reset. Seen a comment to pinch zoom and boom it worked

Just sold My S8+ the fullscreen feature is one of the best things about the phone however my Note 8 that I just set up doesn't have it. Disaster

For anyone still having problems, disabling video enhancer in the phone's setting worked for me (pinch to zoom). I then re-enabled video enhancer.
