Does this image look solid blue on your screen?

On my Moto X Style the blues in this image looks plaid/tartan with light and darker blues.

I've taken a photo with my tablet of what I mean. Apologies for the poor quality

The photo I took looks better than the actual device, where there are a lot of vertical lines. JPG or the camera seems to have merged them together into something more solid than it is on screen.

I thought as much, but I also thought it might be the same on other people's screens. Everything else seems OK, except light blues,

Good thinking. The apps show there is clearly an issue. Blue is actually flickering and yellow is very "liney"

Annoyingly, I rebooted and the problem seems to have gone away. I wish I'd taken it back, as it's likely to return.

I had this bug once too, after reboot it never happened again.

I've had an issue where the screen seemed to get a white overlay. Like the entire screen though, usually with vertical lines of varying transparency and thickness. Even had it last week again. Saw it for the first time two months into having the phone. A reboot always sorted it out.
