Does USB otg still not work l?

I'm running cm9 on a green lens defy and was wondering if it supports USB otg or not

Basically I wanted it to hook up a 16gb flash drive to watch movies, a usb mouse to play mc3, and maybe a usb keyboard to make typing easier

If I just plug the cable to my phone with a flash drive (or mouse or keyboard), will it work, it will I have to do something else?

It seems that it workson 2.1 but it (yet)doesnt on 2.2 and above

Yeah, I saw this before.. but it still isn't clear if it works on ics
If it does work on 2.1, then why doesn't it on 4.0?
