Hey,
So I've read about the zero day root that can be exploited without unlock. Anyone tested this on Honor 10? Do we know if Honor 10 is affected?
Could we use the zero day and then search boot for the unlock code? We could then factory wipe and unlock/root the safer way.. or more likely, reset>zeroday>obtain code>reset>unlock>root>profit
I found the commands for the P8, something like:
su -c "grep -m1 -aoE 'WVLOCK.{14}[0-9]{16}' /dev/block/mmcblk0p7 |grep -aoE '[0-9]{16}'
Assuming it's possible to do the same.. Can anyone lucky enough to have bootloader unlock check the above? Or if it doesn't work, could anyone smart enough find the correct commands!?
Thanks
