So when you hit your 7gb mark, you never received a notification form tmobile that you have reached your limit and will be idled down? Also, where are you seeing the hotpot through settings? I am not finding that...tia

When I use tethering through this rom my hotpot data doesn't go up.
Your normal phone data should only go up. If your hotpot data is going up then perhaps there is a problem.

Also on another note...
I have been recently using WiFi tether router and it's bee working as well.

I download 500MB test files and the new Tmobile account app refreshes almost real time.

Something else to consider Tmobile has different ways of identifying tethering.
So for example perhaps many people that say it's working fine are tethering to WiFi tablets. I have heard that tethering to consoles like xbone and PS4 are more easily seen by Tmo. This could be the same with laptops. I am going to test with some computers and consoles yo see what happens.

However not sure why anyone with tether to a console. I guess unless you were in a hotel and had a really low speed. LTE maybe fast but it's not stable and I imagine would cause weird lag in games.

Mine shows currently on there app 7gb hotspot and 19gb data since March 2nd but I've used 35gb total from what it says in my settings I haven't received any texts at all and my counter isn't going up on there app I been tethering all day to the xbox one still currently tethering to it as we speak...I mean for example I bought a 500 gb xbox one I literally have a 120gb left of space on it everything was downloaded to it from my hotspot on my phone

Also to add that some antivirus programs tend to identify the connection as t-mobile(if not all). Before I install avast, it was going through the regular data and it identified the connection as remote NDIS based Internet sharing. After I installed avast, avast identified the connection as t-mobile and was using the hotspot data when I was tethering. Hope this helps.

I forgot to turn on lte only when I started tethering to my xbox the day my cycle started over that's why I think my counter is at 7gb but it usally don't move at all never has since I started using this rom

Hmmm..... well, ok then... but my tmobile app is reporting 16.6gb data use since 27th and only 95mb hotspot but almost of of that 16.6 gb was used in hotspot...so not all is getting reported on tmobile app

HI fellars. I flashed and installed xposed . Reinstalled apps.

And somewhere in the 2hr+ process of setting the phone up my power menu disappeared and now when I long press power it reboots?

It was working for most of the time and then just went away.

Any ideas on goto restore the power menu / what went wrong? Xposed framework is still active and functioning. Everything else is too.

Just the power menu borked.

EDIT: now now menus will stay up. Like dolphin browser menu pops up for a millisecond and then disappears

Can't answer 1. but for 2. cannot downgrade if you upgrade the bootloader to DOK2.

I've tried installing this ROM several times, and keep getting stuck. The screen says "Unfortunately, Samsung SetupWizard has stopped." I click "OK" over and over again, but nothing happens. If anyone knows a way to get out of this predicament, I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Try this.

Boot into TWRP. Mount Internal/system partition. In recovery, click the Home Button and go to Advanced>File Manager. Navigate to system/priv-app/SetupWizard. Click Select then Delete. This will delete the setup wizard from phone and try rebooting. Hopefully that will take you straight to the home screen since the setup app will not be there.

While I'm sure there are no downsides to DOK2 I can say that COG2 is working totally fine for me.

You are forgetting that new updates are not always benificial for everyone. Some new updates provide even worse performance than the previous ones. A good example would be lollipop when if first came out. A lot of battery drain ect. So people downgraded back to kitkat. Same thing with baseband/modem. Some people reported that after updating to DOK2, they are getting worse reception and calls keep getting drop and so on.
