How to remove wifi calling function and its icon in dialer completely? Since I have never use it, sometimes when making a call, I pressed on it and it said dont support in my country, a bit annoying but not much. Please help me. Thanks!
Dammit, I'm doing as you say to use lte only and using hot-spot in settings as you are and it's still getting counted towards hot-spot data. Does yours still get counted but you do not receive the T-Mobile notifications or yours doesn't get counted towards hot-spot data at all?

I think it is just the app, not his actual hotspot data. I have 5.12gb on the app and my hotspot data is 264mb out of 7gb.

Can't answer 1. but for 2. cannot downgrade if you upgrade the bootloader to DOK2.So guys two quick questions:
1. Anyone using the latest version of this ROM without the DOK2 firmware and modem? Say with COG2... If so, what's your experience with battery, performance, and reception and data?
2. What are the downsides you have noticed updating to the DOK2 Bootloader, if any?
Thank you in advance for all your help!
Thanks bud, thus asking if there are downsides to it? Cause once we go to it, we can't come back, right? Can't answer 1. but for 2. cannot downgrade if you upgrade the bootloader to DOK2.
You are may be 1 of 5% people who are using COG2. 95% people which includes @TEKHD & so many people like me can't be wrong. IT IS AN IMPROVED BASEBAND & BOOTLOADER. Move on & join us -_-.Thanks bud, thus asking if there are downsides to it? Cause once we go to it, we can't come back, right?
I've tried installing this ROM several times, and keep getting stuck. The screen says "Unfortunately, Samsung SetupWizard has stopped." I click "OK" over and over again, but nothing happens. If anyone knows a way to get out of this predicament, I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks!
Yes it seems tht way to me to I discovered tht awhile ago jus thought I was the only one with tht problemWhen I use tethering through this rom my hotpot data doesn't go up.
Your normal phone data should only go up. If your hotpot data is going up then perhaps there is a problem.
Also on another note...
I have been recently using WiFi tether router and it's bee working as well.
I download 500MB test files and the new Tmobile account app refreshes almost real time.
Something else to consider Tmobile has different ways of identifying tethering.
So for example perhaps many people that say it's working fine are tethering to WiFi tablets. I have heard that tethering to consoles like xbone and PS4 are more easily seen by Tmo. This could be the same with laptops. I am going to test with some computers and consoles yo see what happens.
However not sure why anyone with tether to a console. I guess unless you were in a hotel and had a really low speed. LTE maybe fast but it's not stable and I imagine would cause weird lag in games.

You are forgetting that new updates are not always benificial for everyone. Some new updates provide even worse performance than the previous ones. A good example would be lollipop when if first came out. A lot of battery drain ect. So people downgraded back to kitkat. Same thing with baseband/modem. Some people reported that after updating to DOK2, they are getting worse reception and calls keep getting drop and so on.I have to agree with this statement. As I said before, if tmobile/Samsung saw the need to update and they updated to DOK2 then there must have been a reason and I would not be afraid to say...there is no need to go backwards back to COG2, IMO

You have to use a root file Explorer to put the App back in its correct priv-app folder with the correct permissions for both the App and it's folder....So I flashed a debloat script and I edited it per the op instructions but did not see where to keep myfiles included in the rom and it took it out anyways, so would anyone have the myfiles apk or flashable zip I could use to get it back? I've already tried restoring a backup and then making a titanium Backup of it and restoring it after running the script but it still doesn't show up.
