Do you know if it supports T-mobile 4G LTE?
I am not sure buddy, I didn't think it was possible on at&t towers either. This is on band 25 that i get LTE with Straight Talk. I was thinking about editing NV items with qxdm and qpst before and try to actually enable more bands to connect to LTE bands 4 and 17. I didn't quite get there, and don't have a lot of free time, so I gave up on that for now.

I have been unlocked and on Straight Talk for about a year or so, and this is the 1st time I've seen LTE pop up on it. I don't get 4g at home, only when I go into town. I moved a few states over, so maybe there is better coverage here.

OK, so I am new here but not new to mods and root, even got evo v to be evo 3d full s-off..:good:

Anyway I am posting here needing help with my N900p.. Have been trying for MONTHS to get it domestic unlocked for At&t Straight Talk.. to no avail..
Have done many things to it, even had to use the pit file a few times in the process.. (am so glad for that file).
I have followed this #1 post to the letter countless times on all but the original 4.3 FW, and after getting my L720T yes the T model onto straight talk, I am feeling I am at a loss on getting the N900P onto it..
I have Already tripped knox with cf-auto, but cant seem to get the Domestic to unlock fully.

If anyone is willing to try and walk me through a proper unlocking for this phone I would be very happy.

I can flash anything from NAB to NK4. I have all the firmwares, and seperated modems MI3 and MJ4. I also have the SSU.apk and GT3.0.8/gt3.1.2.apk files
I have found that having the GSM SIM in the phone when you do the steps works the best.

The reason you're getting LTE is because AT&T recently started running it on 1900 (band 25) and that's the only LTE band that the phone supports

I figured it was something along those lines. I can't complain, was super stoked to see it pop up! Thanks for the info.

Hello all, so I just unlocked and root a sprint note 3 using these directions. Works Great!!! .Was wondering what compatible roms can I install on this phone?
Does the roms have to be a sprint rom? Or can I use like a att/t-mobile rom?

Head towards the development section of sprint note3 and check which rom appeals to you . its always advisable to use the sprint Roms on sprint variant and likewise on others too.
So even if its Gsm unlocked and you are using it on att , you are better off with sprint Roms.

If you can follow the directions to the T then sac 23 s note 4 port is a sick setup . the best I have ever used .

Sent from THE NOTE 3 .. size matters and so does the battery backup .....

Anyone on MJ4 updated to the official Lollipop?
I'm on MJ4 and I took the official Lollipop OTA. The OTA will flash the OC5 modem and you will see the invalid sim message, but your device will still be unlocked. All you have to do is odin the MJ4 modem back to your phone, and everything will be working again.

Has anyone been able to get to the hidden menu while on stock lollipop? I want to try to enable LTE and see if I get band 25 in my area, but I don't want to have to downgrade back to kitkat and go through the whole process again.

I'm on a note 4 lollipop port, and to get to service menu, I need to hit *#0011# in phone dialer. This will take you to menu.
Then hit menu-softkey-> key input-> Q
then menu-> key input->0000

It may take a few seconds, but you will be taken to hidden menu. Should be the same on your ROM.

This doesn't make any sense.

1. You can't OTA directly from 100% stock MJ4 to OC5 - you have to do all the updates inbetween too

2. You can't use a 4.3 modem on anything above 4.4.2 - the phone will bootloop.

Can you clarify a bit please?

I didn't mean that I took the OC5 update directly from MJ4. I did all of the sim unlocking on NH7 firmware with the MJ4 modem, then I odined to stock NK4 and took the OC5 update, and then I used odin to flash the MJ4 modem again. It does not bootloop for me. If I remember correctly, I had some bootloops when trying to use the MJ4 modem on the NH7 firmware, but I think I got it to stop by getting into settings as quick as possible and switching the mobile network from CDMA to GSM. It has been months since that happened, and It never did it again. Sorry if it doesn't make sense to you, but that's what is working for me.

Edit: I've added some screenshots for proof.

Settings,General,Active this Device, when it's done hit the menu button select PST.
If it didn't work get GT app run and click on IOHiddenMenu. And try again.

Can you direct me to somewhere that states that?
Also, I have been domestic unlocked on my Sprint N3 for as long as the method has been out. Is there anything extra I must to to enable Band 25 LTE? (I'm on Cricket, which uses AT&T for everything).

TIA

Flashed to Page Plus - want Sprint back

Steps to get back 100% to sprint.
Flash MJ4 or most current tar
when phone comes up dial ##72786#
congrats youre back on sprint
(also use this method if you need to start the unlocking process over again it completely undoes everything)
** I am just starting to search for solutions to my issue - if I really even have one. I've been a Verizon customer for years and this is a new ball of wax: I just picked up a Sprint Note 3 that was flashed to work on Page Plus (Verizon towers), but the guy that I got it from said that it would Roam and he would miss calls - like it would go back to hunting for Sprint if the signal strength was low. He really didn't know what was going on - he bought this from a local store that shouldn't have sold it to him in the first place. When I talked to one of the guys at the store, they said it was flashed to Page Plus and that if I want it to work back on Sprint I was going to have to figure it out myself. I figured they "flashed" a new radio, but not sure. I've got to get back to the device and see. I know its on 4.4.2 and shows the Sprint bootlogo and just downloaded and is prompting me for an OTA update.

Will NJ4 and that dial code restore Sprint? Any ideas?

Thanks for your help!
Rick

Take the ota upgade. If an problems reboot into recovery and wipe/factory restore the phone.
If you think you'll want to use GSM run SSU app before the upgrade to lollipop.
If none of that works Oden a stock rom 4.4.4 would be a good place to start. ( what the other guy said ) ;')

From what I've seen with CDMA flashed phones, the MEID is altered to a non-4G one in order to obtain service. That will make the IMEI certification fail, which will deny you signal even if you unlock the phone. Check Settings->About Phone->Status to see if the MEID and IMEI match.
