I had better signal with MJ4. Try *epc.tmobile.com instead of fast.Tmoble, In case your not getting LTE.

I tried epc.tmobile.com... epc.t-mobile.com.... nothing.
I flashed with MJ4 and it failed. Then when it restarted showed an firmware error message and wouldn't boot. So I flashed it with the MI3 again. Now it boots but same problem persist. Can't make phone calls.

This is what I tried: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2657828

I don't know what else to do... :(

H+ best we'll get, "not to confuse anybody"
To make sure your not using a, "mobile virtual network operator", APNs would be different.

Get IMEI Backup program from play store back up when its working.

My only thought is start over.

Sorry for the stupid questions. I got it working though. Not that bad honestly. A lot of steps, but if you do everything correctly, pretty easy. Working on getting back to OC5 and then loading everything again UGH!

I followed OP and can use t-mobile now.
For some reason the data is “E”(dge 2G), cannot even get H.
I did exactly the steps in OP. Hope someone can advice.

And
1. under setting, I find "my phone number" is 0.
2. the phone is still registered under Sprint's R+. I only switched to GSM by the OP steps.

Does these matter?

Thanks.

I'm on Boost mobile but want to use custom ROMs and ports...

Hello all,

As I jumped headfirst into the wacky world of ROM's, ROOTs, and Flashing..I realize my 25 years experience in the tech industry meant jack squat! That being said, I want to express my sincerest gratitude for the immeasurable amount of help I have received from XDA. Hats off to everyone..

I just wanted to know if I can use this mod to enable my ability to use custom ROM's while still maintaining my boost(sprint) account. 60 $ unlimited everything... YES PLEASE! ;)

Maybe someone can help ... I had an OC5 Note 3 that I flashed back to NH7 and went through everything you get it to work on AT&T. That worked albeit slow internet. I decided to go back to Sprint so I flashed OC5 stock. I can't get LTE working. Do I need to do some other steps?

as

As I mentioned.. im new to all this but I have gotten DAMN GOOD at unbricking this thing hehehe :D

Couple of things to try..
1. Update PRL
2 check your APN's (I took SS's of EVERY SINGLE BIT of information from the about device and apn and such..
3. You can always flash back to your original build. For me it is 4.4.2 so I use the Pucnab stock ROM . Make sure you flash the modem (baseband) ttwice the first time you uncheck the auto reboot option in Odin, take teh battery out. put it back in and run the modem firmware ONLY.

Hope this helps :D

Nope. LTE doesn't work, plain and simple

This "mod" is for unlocking the phone to use on GSM carriers, and therefore doesn't apply to you if you want to keep using Boost service..

I think you misunderstand me. I know LTE doesn't work when domestic unlocked and on ATT or T-Mobile because we don't have the necessary bands. I'm asking why my LTE on Sprint doesn't work when I flashed a Sprint stock rom to undo the unlock. It is stated in the 3rd post I only have to flash newest and maybe SCRTN.

Well thats kinda what I thought but was just grasping at any straw to figure out why I can never get custom mods the only ones that work are deodexed stock ... none of the ports work NOTHING...

I really hope that's not a serious question.

If so, please cancel your XDA account immediately. Such a simple answer can be found via a 10 second search.
Thank god these types of comments don't get you banned from this forum. I got banned from gsmhosting by repeatedly telling those leechers to search and use their brains.
