Domestic UNLOCK achieved without sprint

Just as the title says.I finally did it after sleepless nights
But the derp part is I really don't know what I actually did to achieve this.
My efs got corrupted and I had to repair it using my wife's efs backup and no it didn't clone her imei or anything.My phone just booted back up and I tried ×#0011# and to my surprise it said network unblocked

Well guys my phone got messed earlier after everything.I restored back to stock and then tried to restore my efs and bricked it.I am so mad right now.
Just to let you know I was getting data and calls but invalid Sim was still popping up

Well Then That's A Bust... I Bricked My Phone And Only The Samsung Boot Img Came Up And That's It.... But I Don't Think You Can Fry Your Mother board Like That Unless Cpu Super heats Or Something

I even created a Derrick image with my wife's phone and tried it but it won't even get into download mode.Nothing

Have you tried using Jtag

I know some technicians that are able to revive the phones using Jtag, for sure that would work, look for a technician with an Octoplus box, it has a Jtag interface, that would work.

hey im really close to unlocking this thing too... what proram did you use that corrupted your efs folder... this is really important, and also where you on a sprint rom or a gsm one????

i have sucessfully done a few other phones like this and your steps of what happened would be the key..

edit and when i say phones like this i dont mean the sprint note 3, i have done the s4 from straight talk which has the invalid sim and nowhere to input the code just like this phone..

EFS Pro.Before I was trying to flash to metro but lost signal and couldn't figure out how to fix it.Messed with it a little bit more only to lose my baseband and then I restored my wife's efs backup to my phone and it fixed the signal issues but also unlocked the phone.It didn't clone the imei luckily

when it killed your baseband were youmessing with your modem?? did it null your imei and did your imei cert still say passed on the *#0011# service menu??

I hate to inform you that if every single person that have an SM-N900P dial *#0011# on Network will always say Unblock, that mean nothing the phone is Blocked.

II didn't think it was I know it was.I'm not new to this.Yes the imei was null and then I fixed it.As soon as that happened the phone started working with data.Then I test called my wife's phone and the call went through.Invalid Sim was still present

this is kind of how with the z3x box on any samsung you can just replace the imei then put back the original one and it automatically unlocks the phone. sometimes it nulls the imei and when you get to repair it, the phone becomes unlock as a "side effect". so with dfs tool you were able to imput your imei after you nulled it? or only after you installed your wife's efs backup then you repaired the imei and it stuck?
