I remember on some old phones could cross flash models kindof. Basickly is it possible to get a ls991 to think its 815 to unlock bootloader i have iemi backed up so i can restore if got lost. Or do i have to purchace 815 main board and install it then do it. Seein we aint got boot unlock i havnt read on the tools. But aint there an unoffical one may be able to after a cross flash
Just tryin to think of ideas to i lock this thing which wl never happen but hay screw it.

Wow. Almost 1 year and no reply.... I'm also thinking of doing something like this once steadfasterx releases unofficial bl unlock. But may I ask, how did you back up the IMEI?

I used a many root apps had 4 or 5 copies of it mate....
I am still surprised nothing has come along as all the new research with 9008 mode or EDL mode hacks...:good:
I cant remember exactly which app I used But I had root so any of them coulda worked...
Lol I used Flashfire No crap duh Its all I have used since I first got my G4 since no TWRP..
I use it on my S8 now About the only way to get stuff done if you dont have TWRP
