My camera and lantern stops working today...
Any APP recognize them (facebook, whatsapp or Any third party camera app). I already made a factory reset bit nothing.
So i guess my phone is broken with 2months of use...
Somebody know where to find replacement parts for this phone???
You see, this is the kind of **** that makes me not want to root this phone. I get nervous even installing an OTA update directly from doogee!!

Yeah I disabled all the annoying stuff. Even disabled the navigation buttons and switch to pie control, but still use fingerprint scanner as back button [emoji854]

Also happy to report the update released today fixed annoying issue where volume slider was in the center

guys the root for now doesn't work in r/w but using the twrp you can do something. For example I change the bootanimation and deleted every system apps that I don't like. It works, we must wait for magisk to do it well ;)

New OTA for 4Gb Version
Semms that the 4 Performance Cores are now throttling if they are not in use (AIDA64 now reports dynamic core speeds on the last 4 cores and not 2,45 Ghz all the time)
May result in less power consumption.

But it accidentally deleted the DOOGEE Stock Launcher for me. (Not that bad if I'm honest but it could lead to some troubles if there is no second Launcher installed on your Phone)

64GB/6GB variant OTA

Guys, after installing the OTA 2 nights ago, it broke my fingerprint sensor. Then i realized that at the recent screen you will see free ram stands at 4gb (instead of 6gb) and my phone works slower. It's sloved the nvram wifi issue but seems like there are way too much bugs now.

Avoid updating the OTA (well, at least for the 64GB/6GB variant)

I own the 6GB/64GB Mix and updated via OTA to 20171021-1840. All seems well, but when i go to baseband version it says 20170818. Only when i search for new version it says you have the latest version 20171021-1840??? Strange.
Security update is September 5.2017

Same here. What about your "free ram" on recent screen?

Damn it. I bought this crappy phone to replace my Redmi Note 2 which was an incredible phone but the battery situation was getting out of hand.

A couple bugs, sometimes i wake up in the morning and the finger print scanner isnt working cause the phone restarted in the night

not very often now that ive turned off the auto brightness but i have the screen off issue

Bluetooth is so bad i can't connect to anything because with the wifi on i just have stuttering and drop outs to the point where i can't listen to music. Big issue because i have blue tooth headphones.

Any solution for the bluetooth problem because it's so bad i got a partial refund on the phone, thinking of putting it up for sale to recoup the cost of the rest of the phone and buying something else.

Hi,

Yesterday I flashed my doogee 4GB Version with the new Update from the doogee ROM Section here:
https://community.doogee.cc/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=2494&extra=page=1

For that Price, i really like my doogee mix. Only a real root would be last thing to do. With the preroot Boot.img from xda you get root, but no r/w only r/o. Can I increase the call-volume-speaker with that preroot boot.img? There are many apps out there, but they need root to do their job.

greetings and nice weekend for all

1.Download Magisk Manager apk. from link #182 and install to phone
2.Extract boot-verified.img from firmware zip. and copy to phone.
3.Start Magisk Manager, download latest zip, click install and select "Patch Boot Image File".
4.It make a patched boot img. file, then copy to PC to extracted firmware directory and rename it "boot-verified.img"!
5.Open SP Flash Tool and load scatter file from firmware directory.
6.Check only boot.img box and flash it.

Thats all
Hi,

i have flashed the actual ROM 20170817_20171021-1839 (4G-Version) with the prerooted boot.img (r/o settings). If anyone needed the modified boot.img from the latest ROM, here you have it. Works fine for me! I'm looking for a way to increase my call-volume-speaker.

greetings
Jan
