Dorimax-ROM: ICS keyboard crashes

hey, I'm new in this board, so sry if the question has already been asked but i couldn't find anything:

So, I tried to install this ROM:

First I made a new 5/150/5 partition, then i created ext and swap.
After that, I installed the zip in the recovery.
As options I chose no-2way-kernel, cron activated, HIGH-END-Version, MAGLDR, first full theme, but standard icons and animations, and in the next step use cm7 skin.


After that, the phone starts up in Android as expected, but the ICS keyboard just gets forced closed (process: inputmethod.latin.ported) over and over again, and I don't get a keyboard

Any idea? It took me long enough to figure out how to install this ROM...

Downloaded the 150mb v1.3 zip, unpacked it, opened flash.cfg, changed

boot yboot|ro 5M
system ya 150M
cache ya 44M

to

boot yboot|ro 5M
system ya 150M
cache ya 5M

Hi, I am n00b too but I've experienced same issue today and found a "solution". I believe it can help you too:

1) go to apps/File Manager
2) tap "home" icon, then goto "system/app"
3) long-press on "LatinIME.apk" and choose "install"
note: you have to enable installing from unknown sources

note2: this works for me but I have to tell that I installed the file from this post before: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13798313&postcount=974 , but not helped to me at all (but if the progression I described is not working to you, this can be the reason why)
